For example, if my city sanitation workers are not getting updated equipment and fair wages for a fair days work and they strike, etc and the garbage piles up, that is on the local people where I live, not on somebody who lives say in Seattle or NYC half the country away. If the voters where I live don't vote for gas taxes to keep up roads in the city where I live, that is on the voters where I live, not voters in other areas who are willing to pay more city and state local gas taxes to improve their roads. Same thing with Police and Local DA's, cities and states that don't support the police and demand DA's enforce and prosecute law breaking, that is on them.
