For those unaware, Gunnar Henderson is possibly the last MLB player (for now...) to have attended a segregated K-12 school (in good ole Alabama), named after confederate loser and KKK "grand dragon" John T. Morgan.
Henderson was already a 1st grade student there when the school finally accepted its first black student in 2008.
And just in case it needs to be said, Gunnar has never been accused of anything racist himself and he seems to have a fond appreciation for Latino players!

Mlb 21 was the first on Xbox, and I think that’s the biggest reason it has such a good reputation.
I'm sorry to come off as a jerk, but '21 is when a majority of "The Show" fans in the reddit & discord communities think the series went significantly downhill, especially actual gameplay wise. Branching the game to multiple platforms across several generations really stifled innovation, and they even downgraded graphics for all platforms to accommodate, leading to huge disappointment for PS5 fans that have had to wait until 2025 for the first "next gen" baseball game. Overall, I was thrilled that all gamers finally got to enjoy the series, but because of that expansion to all platforms, this is the first true "new" engine update the game has had since ~2019 or so.
This is not true 😂 mlb the show 20 was regarded as some of the worst gamrplay weve seen in the series. TS21 was not perfect gameplay wise but it was serviceable. And when you compare it to MLBTS22 it was also better gamellay wise. @scgilmore87

I can’t understand how gameplay and graphics are the same from 10 years ago. There’s no explanation for it other than pure laziness. We’re all idiots for buying the same game every year and expect it to be different. SDS called it a fan appreciation game yet they refuse to change the thing fans complain about the most.
I hope they change “On the black pitches” like it should be.

It's not gonna be on gamepass so I'm not playing this year
MLB 24 was easily my least played The Show game in a veryyyy long time. The game was so stale and had no personality which usually SDS does do well compared to the other sports games. I feel like MLB The Show always has its own vibe and feels like care was put into the cards and content even if the gameplay isn’t perfect. This year I felt no reason to keep playing. It felt similar to an EA sports level of passion where they just recycle. I’m super excited for 25 to get back playing.
Other than a total of 7 or so HS and college games, what is different? Not the graphics. The claims they make for Franchise are the same they make every year and never achieve.
@ sets and seasons is gone which is the biggest thing for me as a person who plays 99% DD. I’ll actually get to use the cards I earn. New offline game modes for DD and the weekend classic reminds me of weekend league from madden so it’s more comp and people wont quit after going down 2 runs in the first inning and a new way to earn rewards.
@ I wouldn’t hate on a game that hast even come out yet. I serious doubt that SDS went through the process of getting the rights to colleges just to waste it on 7 games.

DD needs to be its own subscription based game. A lot of people do not play dd, but all it takes is 20-30% to make a huge profit on the mode itself
