We just got back from Upper Antelope Canyon, it was breathtaking. I am so excited to find this video as I have been trying to figure out how to edit my pictures. Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks. Just came back from Arizona and unfortunately didn't have the luxury to be able to use a tripod-that was not allowed on the tour I was on. Used a 6400 ISO f/2.8 @100th sec and a Tokina Wide 11-16 Lens @11mm. Thanks for your RUclips (however I needed luminance to keep the pixels soft) as I used and slightly adjusted your other settings for a lower canyon tour and the pictures came out better than I had done on my own.
I was there in June and did both upper and lower, I was a little disappointed by the upper but the lower was fantastic, the guide was very helpful in pointing out shapes that look like faces. Well worth the trip.
Amazing! I'm learning everything... everything is brand new to me and I'm so excited. Thank you Serge... heading out to Antelope Canyon for the first time this December. I will use your presets for my photos. Thank you so much. God bless. 💓
Thanks you Serge, I love the format of showing the making videos and postprocessing. Amazing results on the prictures! Please continue the national park tours.
Thank you Serge for all these nice pictures and for sharing your experience and providing presets. I have the opportunity to visit Antelope Lower Canyon in a few weeks. As the special photo tour doesn't exist anymore I had to book a regular tour. But in these tours, tripods are not permitted. So my question is : in Lower canyon, without tripod, what settings would you suggest on a DSLR camera ? Gerard
I went there this past summer, but I had to squeeze around and through LOTS of people even though I was on a photography tour. Guess it pays to be Serge!!!
I saw somewhere that as of 2020 there would be no more "photography tours. Just the regular tours, and also they won't allow tripods anymore. I'm guessing you used a 16-35mm lens? What lens to use would be good tip.
Thanks for this video! I just got back from touring Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon and needed some tips on the best way to edit my RAW files. This was great!!
Great Video, can you advise on which tour company you used for a private tour? I keep reading about very frustrating and crowded experiences (even using the the photo tours) as they are not private and operate at the same time as every other tour.
The one with the stair is simplry incredible, Serge. I've been wanting to got there for quite some time. I hope I can go next year. Have you been to Horseshoe Bend? It's near Antelope Canyon and also worth a visit.
Very nice tutorial as always. You did not talk about the special use permit you are supposed to get if you want to sell or post anything to social media.
Excellente Serge, Loving your work, Following you all the time. I could not help myself to ask you why have you switch from DSLR to Sony cameras. Are you using the DSLR's for anything.
Hey Serge, I'll be going to the slot canyons in a couple of days. Which tour guide would you recommend? It seems like you were not in a crowded area. Thanks!
I went during a busier period unfortunately and I didn't take the photography tour, but I think it was quite alright. The only disappointment was that I used manual focus on my Sony a7rii and as you said autofocus is doing a better job.. unfortunately I only noticed afterwards.. hope they can somehow fix this?
LightRoom HDR is great, did you know you don't have to bracket your images to use it? you can just use two shots with different exposures! I.e.. one for the sky and one for the foreground.
Serge Remelli is so awesome ! :) LOL at 10:25..... Some people also have empty white living room walls, and drive a white Prius with stock wheels. On the other end of the spectrum, you have photographers that wear Lime green camo cargo shorts :) lol Take a guess how I shoot / process my photos ;)
Two questions 1. I am logged in but cannot seem to see the link to the raw files?? 2. Where is your focus point when taking these images. I notice you are shooting around F8 for most of these so to make sure the image is sharp all over where would you focus? Thanks enjoy these videos.
i'm learning photography. My question is will this be considered ethical when it comes to landscape photography to create situations which aren't naturally / originally there?
From my opinion you really overdid the reds and the yellows making it look like it was shot with a lego camera. If you have a camera that can accurately capture the color, why make it fake. Let your images be the beauty, not the post-process slapped on top. I could get the same result with an Instagram filter with one click.
The most expensive photograph sold in the history of photography was shot in Antelope Canyon by Peter Lik. $6.5 million. Keep shootin' , Serge - There's gold in them thar canyons!

Lughtroom HDR and Pano is just awesome! Gaining more dynamic rage is often sooo usefull!

Thank you. Hope to visit some day. What focal length did you take with? Heard you can't change lenses due to dust?

I thought the photographers tours was still a group but just smaller and more time was allowed. What tour company does private tours?
u can use a colormeter for accurate WB; unfortunately, it costs as much as a crop sensor camera
