Hi Tail Gunner, great video, thanks for sharing. I've watched several of your other videos on the Dosewallips Campground and given your expertise and experience with the site, I had a few questions I was hoping you could answer. 1. You mentioned that there were some mountain bikers on the trail. Is it feasible to bike from the trailhead all the way to Dosewallips Campground or is the road condition such that it would be too difficult? 2. On some of your overnight stays in the campground, where do you leave your car? Somewhere in Brinnon? 3. Have you ever gone up or camped at Lake Constance? Thanks again for sharing the videos!
1. yes, you can bike to the campground. There are two spots about quarter mile and eighth mile in length respectively, where bike has to be walked; rest of 6.5 miles is easily bikeable. 2. The trail head parking is seen in last 30 seconds of current video. On nice weekend, car may be lined up down road for a ways., (Hint, go to turn around and park facing out.). Never had issue at trail head, but then I don't leave anything of potential value visible. 3. No, never been up to Lk Constance. Talking with others who have, the warning sign should be heeded - it is a strenuous climb on an infrequently maintained trail.
Nice video and hike. Thank you for sharing. Take care
