You misspoke when you said you had to scan into your first LL booked to be able to book another LL. The rule is 120 minutes after you book your last LL OR after you scan in to your most recent LL, whichever comes first.
If you are in the park all day wouldn't it be economical to book ASAP to get more bookings? I get that wasn't the goal of this video. I haven't been since Genie+ rolled out.
Nope, the advice at 15:20 is incorrect. It's once you tap into the most recent Genie+ you booked, not the first. So, you would have qualified for your next Genie+ at 7pm or when you tapped into Smuggler's Run, the one you booked at 5pm. Since you hadn't checked into Smuggler's Run by 7:32pm, I am guessing you missed the 7pm booking window (that was 2.5 hours since your 5pm booking and that's what you booked on Slinky Dog). The front screen shows when you can book your next ride. If you would have looked post booking Smuggler's Run at 5pm, it would have told you 7pm. If your return start time for Smuggler's Run would have been before 7pm instead of after, it would have updated from 7pm to the moment you finished tapping in.
Oh wow! Thank you so much for explaining this! I can definitely see where I got tripped up and that it was the Slinky Dog lightening lane that activated it. I appreciate you explain this and I'll try again in a future video :)
@@millennialonmainstreet It's not so bad. Seemed like you were on it all day. You got your 7am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm, so no worries about getting your 7pm at 7:32pm. It happens.
Do these 120 mins and next booking rules apply to Individual Lightning Lanes aswell?

This is so helpful! It’s crazy how many rides you could easily get on with it
Im in California, and I've never seen the option to modify plan for the LL. Is this ONLY for WDW?

This is super helpful! I will definitely watch again when closer to my actual trip
Hey! I'm so glad it was helpful :)
Doesn't work well on busy days. Hot rides sell out for the day within the first 30m to 45m.
Not Aaron on Tower of Terror 😂 I didn't know you didn't do big rides! Me neither! Glad I'll have a buddy when we go together.
Haha! He's the best. Yeah we can hang out together while the guys go on the big rides.
Stand By Skipper I will try .. Otherwise it is to much for me 😊
Fair enough!
You can't stack if you go at park opening unless you want to stand in dozens of long limes until your stacked rides start late in the day
