The Thunder Deck is still alive and kicking quite hard. Triggerdrago is still an absolute menace, and Card Revitalization can effortlessly close out a game when comboed with Gazelle and Trailblitz to remove backrow.
Plants were a deck pre-fusions in the physical game as well, but they had access to more tools. Although there is room for plants to improve, this initial version is still trash for no reason.
@@Tomatosaurs Well, yes, but they weren't that noteworthy pre fusions (or ever from my understanding), but they did have a good fusion lineup that actually paid off Etraynze spam. Right now the skill really doesn't encourage Etrayzne at all if that's supposed to be the focus of the deck, neither enabling filling the grave, nor specially benefitting summoning multiples to the field. By herself she's an understatted boss who with skill barely can go over the standard 2500 big boss enemy, which harpies could do with their more numerous 1 tribute monsters. Neoplandish also only gets up to 2800 if it misses it's skill (3k at least with forest) and it can't even get piercing. If they really wanted Etraynze to be the centerpiece, the skill needed to be something bigger, like both enabling milling an Etraynze and then boosting all copies of her on the field for a lot more than 300 so you could actually threaten game by spamming her out. Either that or add more tech cards that actually have some spice. Their spell/trap support other than just having an MST is pretty pathetically unhelpful.
Box itself isnt bad. A lot of good cards in it imo. The skills are gatekeeping the decks, not the old cards themselves, especially when the 2 of the 4 best ones -800 every single turn for no reason. Make all the skills once per duel and cards like Gekka and Plandish, Blisstopia and Buildragon, Witness Destroyer, and Card Devestation become very strong.
It's clear that konami want to push some decks by giving them busted skills, it would just be nice to see some weaker decks get the busted skills as well (rip noodle art reboot)
i want to say Dragonic Resonance should be higher than 3 on build variety alone. you can Dragias for otk, Shock for anti-maximum, and go for BEWD Soul Drake for better GY recursion. no matter what being able to remove more spell/traps than the rest of the decks will always be a valuable choice with negate attack and buffer slime stalling turns. however i imagine a lot of ppl are tired of playing the deck since its been available since launch.
I would love to see more player pilot the deck to success at events but we aren't seeing it much these days and when we do it isn't performing very well, which is a shame!
Ok, new month and that means a new Tier. - I told almost everyone that LIGHT Machine Deck will only become better when it has your support that made it stand out. The Deck gained some support, but LIGHT Machine remains incomplete. Still, it was enough to put the Deck over the top in Rush's Duel Links (not unreasonable since LIGHT Machine was the only Deck capable of taking on the powerful Tier 0 Dragoncaster in Early Rush Duels, slowly ejecting it from Tier 0 status) - I feel like Cyberse wasn't very affected by the recent Banlist. It's still the same as before and the Deck doesn't care much about losing Negate Attack (something I did notice is that there were many people who were willing to leave aside Negate Attack) - Royal Rebel's refuses to die or disappear with each passing Meta. I feel that if Royal Rebel's wants to return to its old glory, it needs to get its Broken Skill back or receive the modern support it received in GO RUSH Era. - For some reason, I feel like Overlord Deck hasn't changed, but it hasn't gotten better either (in fact, I think it got a little worse). Losing Negate Attack gave Overlord an advantage, but it still loses against Decks that are Tier 1. Not to mention, I've seen more people play LIGHT Machine than anything else. - I feel Vast Vulcan deserves Tier 2 at the bottom due to the surprise factor and its good performance so far. I also doubt that people can adapt to countering Vast Vulcan considering they didn't do it with Noodle Deck, especially since adapting means bringing cards that don't benefit you or only work against a specific Deck. - I would put Thunder Deck and Buster Blader Deck near the Aggro Deck (or at the top of Tier 3). Thunder and Buster Blader Deck have proven to have better results than Aggro so far despite not winning any Tournaments. Aggro Deck is unpredictable and that makes it difficult to place in a position, but I think you should focus on the results of the moment. - Wyrm and Rush's Blue-Eyes Decks are the rare ones here as they are more common to see in the Ladder than in the Meta. Both Decks have potential to be better, but are carried by one Skill. Of the two, I feel like Wyrm has the most potential for support, but could also easily break the Deck. - I think it's time to put Spellcaster Deck in Rogue Tier since just one Tournament win is not enough to put it in Tier 3 when it is somewhat missing. Dark Revelation is necessary to bring the Spellcaster Deck to life in Rush's Duel Links. - IT'S PLANTSOVER! Konami was generous in giving the Deck some good Monsters, but it seems to get the Psychic treatment (although Psychic has better Skills overall)
I'm in two minds when it comes to basing the list entirely off of tournament results. First the tournaments tend to be rather small, giving small sample sizes and allowing a lack of representation to greatly influence the results. On the other hand, just going by personal or ladder experience can feel informal or just straight us biased. I do like how in your comment you would like to see the list represent the results then immediately say SAR should go to rogue even after winning an event :p
For F2P players, what cards do you recommend using our "Buster Blader" Gift and Road to Worlds Campaign tickets on? Based on future support, I imagine you'll say Raidacross or Lightning Voltcondor, but are there any sleeper picks? If I hadn't known about future support from you, I would have just clicked Rightful or something else and not thought another second about it, so thank you.
We might not see Voltcondor support for years yet, or Konami could just drop it next week who even knows! Raidacross' fusion should be one of the first fusions to release so that "should" be playable sooner, but even that deck was never anything special in the physical game.
@@GrandisKuwagamon Yes, but if it follows the physical release schedule it wont be out for another 3 years. But like I said, Konami could bring it out early.
F for plants. How would you like the meta to change would you prefer a banlist, unlimit list, new skills for decks, new support for current decks, or new decks to compete with them.
Not too bad actually. Needs more testing, as expected building it about 30 mins before doesn’t make for the most rounded of decks. Shame it’s better without a plant skill than with it 🥲
And well, on the topic of how to improve or weaken the Decks here: - I feel that the only hit that LIGHT Machine Deck would give is to put Rising Light Angel Essel at 3. Another hit there I think would only damage the Deck, but I suppose it is an option too since the Deck already has time in the Meta . - I feel that Cyberse Deck should die for the advancement of the format: that is, no limits or extra hits, let other Decks come and defeat it by nature. - With Overlord Deck, I feel that it is best to weaken the Skill since that is the only problematic thing about the Deck so far. - It's surprising that Konami let Dragon Decks die so quickly in Rush's Duel Links. MakeDragiasGreatAgain! - Wyrm Deck needs the rest of its support from its first/second wave in Rush's Duel Links to be better. - For Plant Deck, unfortunately, you have to wait until you get Fusion Summon or have a new, better Skill that allows that Deck to have good confrontations in the Meta (like what happened with Noodle or Thunder Deck) - I think it is necessary that more cards be free from the limit of 3 on the Banlist: especially Monsters or Spell Cards that are unfairly there. By the way.... Who do you think will be our next Playable Character? Tiger or Yuo? People are betting more on Yuo to accelerate the arrival of Fusion Summon.
I would like to see every sevens character become playable, but that doesn't seem likely after we've skipped so many. Tiger would be my choice personally.
@@Adam-kt3mu I think Cyberse in undeniably one of the strongest decks right now after the introduction of Chaos Femtron. The skill is very strong and at this point doesn't really need the 800 atk reduction, but an extra 800, 1600 or 2400 over the course of the game and being able to summon a hand full of bosses was always going to be decent, especially at this point in Rush Duel Link's life.
The Thunder Deck is still alive and kicking quite hard. Triggerdrago is still an absolute menace, and Card Revitalization can effortlessly close out a game when comboed with Gazelle and Trailblitz to remove backrow.
It’s a bit obvious that the decks here are setup to wait for future support. Like plants is meant for fusions more than its current gameplan.
