He plays second fiddle to Miracle. That's Liquid's style. Some teams (like VP) run a balanced 1-2, and others have one of them take on more of a sacrificial role for the sake of the other. Liquid just happens to be the latter. It worked for them in the past, and in this series as well. Miracle Lesh did tons of damage yes, but in large part because Matu took forever to die.
