I've been thinking that this Miku (in 3D) is the same girl in the movie (2D) she's watching, but where's the boy that helped her escape to a new world? It's either dead as she's replaying the memories (movie) remembering him, or it's a product of her imagination that created him to support herself, hence why she's watching a movie, as movies are often products of fantasy or fiction, it would imply she created that movie on her head.

from what I could understand in the original pv, it is about a dystopian future where sunlight's become so harmful that people are forced to live under a giant umbrella, so this girl who grew up reading books that showed how the sky used to look like decides to go see it herself with her friend/bf who supports her during their journey, satisfied after seeing such a beautiful landscape our protagonists die at the end due to sun exposure
