I wonder if anybody has ever been perched ready to set off their IED and had a moment of pause where they realized they were about to kill/hurt someone they didn’t even know... and they decided not to set it off.
My platoon was doing route clearance outside of Fallujah in April 2004. My team walked right up on an IED ready to blow, with a wire going through the dirt into the bushes.....but nobody was there to blow it up. I'm thankful ol dude changed his mind and took off that morning haha.
@@crono3339 oh man that’s scary. My great grandfathers and grandfathers on both sides were in WW1 and WWII respectively. My dad was in the Vietnam war. Most people my age don’t have a dad that old. My dad robbed the cradle. Moms was 22 and he was like 44. Hahahahaha. So pretty much every male in my family tree has served in a war except for me. I was just out of high school and considering joining when my dad became suddenly ill. The ole agent orange caught up with him and they discovered a plethora of issues with him during his two month hospital stay. My mom took off and married someone else. My pops didn’t have anybody to help care for him... so instead of abandoning my dad... I opted to care for him. He passed away a couple months ago. Nobody thought he would live that long... neither did I. I ended up basically giving up my entire adult life(until this point) to care for him. What I’m trying to say... is that I have great respect for the people willing to serve for their military. I appreciate what you’ve done and I wanna say thank your for your service. 🙏🏼 have a stellar evening brother.

We supposed to blow up that pipe which was transferring water from one side to other side the village and villagers requested to not blow it up we were not able to drive under the pipe then we had to wait for engineering team to make us another way to get to our destination
Why use so many expensive machine, can you just drive a couple of heavy and chained vehicles with nothing but solid steel inside. , with only the driver who would be protected by armour and seat high from the ground....just run those vehicles back and forth a couple of time.

That's the idea bud.
That's the whole point of training dogs. It's a big game to them. They get rewarded when they find what they're looking for, all I see is a dog that follows the signals of his handler, searches, then returns to his handler, excited to do the next search.
That willingness to hunt and work in a way where the idea of work is fun is something dogs can do that humans don't. The fact you don't understand that the dog is supposed to enjoy the work means you probably don't understand much about these dogs.
If they hated what they did they wouldn't listen to the handler, dogs like this hate complacency. They can't stay in one place or do one thing if it's not rewarding, the only way they get a reward is if they work, that's what drives them to work, the fact it's like a game, they do their job, they get their treat, they wanna keep doing it. Dogs aim to please.

We are all humans. We need to stop war. We can benefit much more from working together. We set ourselves back too often with war. If our governments/leaders/dictators tell us to fight... we, as individuals, have the power to say no. We CAN change the world for the better.
