- If talls on Henry to scout the enemy encampment at Pribyslavitz engage in any sabotage he can manage. Then comes the actual assault and the duel with Runt. We cover the possible approaches and hidden options available to the player in this scenario.
"Kingdom Come:Deliverance" contains many hidden dialogue and secret options that you won't run into if you treat it as a straightforward game where you only follow quest directives. It pays to talk to everyone, pay attention fo passing conversations, and treat the world as a real entity rather than a collection of quests.Be sure to take your time and pay attention!

What's a "let's roleplay"? A roleplay is an attempt to play the game from the character's perspective. Games often have limitations in how they can portray the world and how they allow players to interact with them. Doing a roleplay means taking actions in line with what that character would know, taking the world and story seriously, and interact with the world in ways that are consistent with it even if the game systems can't enforce that.

Is there anyone who's managed to sabotage the bandit camp without triggering suspicion?
Please let me know if you have and how you did it!
No.
I killed them.
I killed them all.
Aha, the good old "dead people can't detect you" approach. Technically correct I say!
Seems impossible. They would always see you. Like how the Cumans will always discover you after the 3rd dialogue. I also tried going back to Sir Radzig immediately after discovering the camp (I only triggered the monologue about the stockade) but it seems he will always talk about the archers, ladders, etc.
@@moksori "I also tried going back to Sir Radzig immediately after discovering the camp (I only triggered the monologue about the stockade) but it seems he will always talk about the archers, ladders, etc."
I was pretty sure it was different but that may have been changed across versions.
But it's good to know, thanks for confirming that!
I think it's impossible, spent 4 hours one day trying to do it undetected, there will always be someone watching an arrow stash or cooking pot, I put my horse just outside of the storage room entrance in the Cuman's camp and started the sabotage at the far cooking pot in the bandit camp, then run for the fucking hills
I had no idea you could light the hay on fire to smoke out the archers. Also I didn’t know the Kolbens farm would be destroyed if you took all the soldiers. Pretty cool.
Yeah, the Kolbenz farm was something that I ran across by accident and then it took a bit of experimentation to find it was tied to how many soldiers you took. The hay tip I learned from someone else on the internet :D
In the alpha version, the farm is already burned down. So if you had played that, you would already know it's possible. In the beta, there are multiple directions you can choose to attack from for the main battle, but the AI was incredibly bad, so they only left the one where you attack from the front.
I love the mental image of Henry sprinting away from a growing crowd of enemies, yanking out potions and torches as he runs to just yeet into the barrel/pot as he passes by.
Add the Benny Hill soundtrack to me running around chucking potions. It'll fit right in :P
You can also use this large fight at Pribislavits to line your pockets with groschen. You can pick everything up off the bandits and Cumans that die, and when you finish the fight with runt, everything in your inventory will be ported to Rattay.
Correct, I didn't do that because it would go against my house rules :)
I have no idea how you would be able to kill Runt with that heavy inventory though
@@siriusczech Steal Herod's sword before hand. Runt is a freaking ease fest once you do. I took him out in 2 hits.
@@darkushippotoxotai9536 I will take my bailiff´s hammer over Herod´s sword any day a week. He just melts :D
I am late, but I remember getting my Houndskull helmet from a bandit and it accompanying me on my journey for most of the game. Took me a lot to find a better one ahah.
The first time I fought Runt I was a bit under leveled. But my For Honor prediction skills kicked in and I master strike him into oblivion. First try!
Dude I thought the battle with runt would be hard but I literally killed him in a hit and a counter. That being said I was lv 11 and had a sword that did 75 damage so....
A fellow For Honor Chad ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I cracked his head with the Cracker perk so basically oneshotted him :-D
@@droopmasterflex2822 this was a year ago but thank you, I would have gotten destroyed lol. Im good at fighting but my Henry sucks so I end up fighting some people for 20 real time minutes with nobody landing a blow. better go train
@@droopmasterflex2822 I think in terms of difficulty the game almost kind of expects you to rush the main quest up until around this point, because if you don't, whew are all of the fights cakewalks.
Well, I had just learned stealth kill so I went in and killed everyone. Made the scouting, poisoning and burning arrows a bit easier. :)
Big brain move. Can't be detected if they're all dead :D
Same mate
That's what I did my first time. Now I either just run through to only scout or slaughter everyone in glorious combat. The big fight is a lot more fun if you don't sabotage and take the minimum amount of soldiers.
That sucks
@@davefekete7187 to be fair, it was my second playthrough on hardcore. I went the distance in the end to max all combat skills and liked to spend time brawling with bandits and eliminating whole camps in the night without raising alarm.
To me it was fun, but for each their own I guess.
I am less than a week into the game and think this is one of the best games I have ever played.
That Pribyslavitz mission was extremely hard and I had to reload multiple times.
I did not manage to sabotage anything, thanks for showing what is possible.
The fighting as well was very difficult but I stuck with bow and arrow and managed quite well. The arrows can be looted from the archers you kill, so there is no danger in running out.
In the end, I even had to resort to bow and arrow to kill Runt as by sword it was just not possible.
Great video!
Considering the cutscene that concludes this battle, I think it’s more in keeping with role playing to use a long sword for the battle.
True, but for mass battles I prefer having a shield and you really can't have one with the longsword.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD That’s a good point. I try to match up my armour and weapons to the missions and story, but I sometimes have to do what’s practical too.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD Why not I always use a shield with my herods sword
@@hodnydylko You can't do combinations with a longsword if you use a shield. You're supposed to combine it with a short sword.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD I read somewhere that you can do shortsword & shield combos with a longsword & shield
But I for whatever reason could never land a combo and simply rely on either clinching or yeeting arrows to the face (often times point blank)
Probably helped that my Henry was a L16 swordsman and well armoured by that point, but I found when I blew my cover in the Cuman camp I was able to run into a tent, where they can't shoot you and pile in through the door which bottlenecks them so you can cut them down in a confined space.
Also kill all the bandits in the other camp by drawing them onto the road and cutting them down in the woods, poisoned the food pots, but didn't find that store of it.
Not got to the battle yet, so don't know what impact it had, this is my first play through and wanted to see what the stealth could have got. Certainly wasn't going to reload after that success, the xp from it made him a monster over night.
Yeah, level 16 is pretty high for that stage, I usually restrict myself to level 5 for all combat skills until the battle at Pribyslavitz is finished.
Unfortunately killing everyone has no impact, you still have to fight the battle. It's only the sabotage that has an impact. For example, burning all the arrows leads to less ammunition for the enemy archers.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD but the loooot :D
oversell peshek and get to his traders chest :D
@@BruceCarbonLakeriver Yeah, it's a lot of money but looting armour goes against my house rules :P
Lol, I killed whole Vranik except the unkillable Zbyshek and the combat master and then they respawned for the following quests.
Before doing this mission I ran into two heavily armoured bandits fighting with a group of talmberg soldiers in the forest ,while I was looking for the camp ,I fought the bandits along side the soldiers and I looted a pretty heavy armour 🥰🥰
That must be the spot where groups of fighters spawn. Pretty high level bandits so the gear would be nice.
@@SequentialGamer_KCDNot so good like in Skalitz!
i remember playing this mission at 6 in the morning barley keeping my eyes open (i was playing from about 5pm on the previous day)
Well, lots of excitement happened there. I imagine the battle woke you right up!
Me too. I gotta coffee up and get back to work in the morning.
Same here. This game has taken over my life. I can't seem to put it down. I will need to take a break from gaming once I am done with this game and catch up on some sleep. This game and how I can do a particular quest is all I can think about.
@@aks19880 Do you play on steam?
I don’t get how people are unable to stop playing this buggy mediocre game smh
Nice video Sequential! I never knew about that secret chest in the back, that’s extremely useful :)
Cheers! Good to know that you discovered new things.
I saw that you also subscribed, thanks for that!
SequentialGamer dont thank me brother! Thank you for making KCD content especially in these “dark times” haha! Keep it up 👍🏼
It amazing how much details and hidden dialogs this game has
I feel so dumb he did that easily and it took me 3 hours of just redoing the mission
It's short because it's a guide. Getting to the point where I know what the best approach is takes a lot longer. It's actually pretty tricky if you do it blind so if it only took you 3 hours that's pretty quick!
Hey sequential! Nice video. I know you've been doing alot of main story "did you know?" Videos but I would love to see all the possible outcomes for "...is a friend indeed" where you help Fritz and Mathew deal with old Thomas at the ledetchko Miller. I know there's a few different possible outcomes and I would love to see your guide on that.
Hey Damien! Thanks for watching. For Fritz & Matthew, we covered that in a previous video in the series:
ruclips.net/video/p2aLqnyb6gA/видео.html
They were done earlier because I recommend that people put off going to Sir Radzig to start the main missions until you've done all the available side-quests first. IMHO they make more sense if you're a struggling peasant. Makes things like Matthew & Fritz looking for jobs and the Skalitz wounded struggling to survive a bit more relatable.
I've changed a number of things in the way I edit and do the voice since those earlier videos, so I apologize beforehand for the lower quality.
Had no idea you could set fire to the hay and I ran right beside there and was shooting at the archers from there lmao
Yeah, I didn't know until someone told me. It's pretty hidden.
After I realised they were limited in numbers, took em out one by one, got some heavy loot and made the scouting much easier.
Warhorse is so clever, that they blocked the access to your horse, so in the contrary to something another user here said, there is really no reason to loot here role-playing wise or not because you will get extremely encumbered to be unable to either run to try flank or fight. So in my playthroughs, i just enjoy the fight first and worry about the loot second.
This is where you use Safe passage. Loot absolutely everything to the point that your horse is full and you can't mount, then get blackout drunk and wake up at home next to a bunch of vendors.
Powerlooting ruins the game anyway. I don't even let Henry carry more than a real person could functionally carry. Aside from coins, keys, and lockpicks (and quest items, of course), I only allow him to carry what he can directly wear, one melee weapon, and one bow with a quiver of 30 arrows max. Makes the game more challenging and more immersive.
I once gave Radzig a righ ol' whack with the mace when he ran right into my swing during the battle.
Been there, done that. Happens more often than I'd like .. maybe Henry has a grudge againat Radzig.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD
As we learn later, Henry is given a valid reason to hold a grudge against Radzig.
Excellent video, thanks
Thanks Badger!
Well thank god i only took a medium amount of soldiers. They will attack Merojed but won't be able to destroy the surrounding farms and the Merojed people will be able to fight them back.
truly interesting conversations. and i didnt know you can set the hay on fire :O
Those conversations the bandits have are extremely interesting because they give hints about the conspiracy and how it's developing. There's more going on than meets the eye!
I learned about the hay from someone else but it's more than useful.
my way of getting out stealthily: first get your cuman gear from the unguarded palisade, then avoid contact with the cumans. before going there make sure you have a lot of poison/bane potion in your inventory. kill the lone cuman patrol in the bridge to secure your getaway. posion the bandits first, then set arrows for the cumans. cumans are less vigilant, not bandits. once you set the arrows aflame, make sure your horse is in the bridge and get the hell out of there asap.
and then when the battle is on you can see the bandits will have less man than yours (make sure you chose the choice “hardly worth mentioning” when talking to sir radzig).
Spoiler free: This is actually a fantastic spot to farm some gold right before the next part. Go into this with decent stealth gear and empty saddles. You will be making a few trips back and forth to unload. You will be using your bow alot but aside from that, will be relying mostly on bow/stealth. for an on screen reticle, go to the command screen (by pressing ` on your keyboard) and press wh_pl_showfirecursor 1 hit enter. Start on the northern camp (Cumans) hit one with an arrow and before they have a chance to spot you run away about 30 feet and stealth then repeat until dead. You can use this method to take them out one by one. The guards at the upper camp often patrol alone, guard the southern entrance or guard the camp entrance. They can be sniped one by one the same way. Remember to loot all of the chests. REMEMBER that when you're ready to talk to Sir Radzig about the fight that as far as you're concerned the camp is still 100% full as you wiping out the two camps will have no effect on the next part. :) Happy farming
Meh. Cheesing ruins the game.
I always loved these informative videos.
I came in here trying to figure out if sir radzig gets mad if you say “hardly worth mentioning” when counting. But man am I happy I got something I want and something more.
Thanks! I'm glad that other people are appreciating the depth in these as much as I am.
SequentialGamer you gonna keep doing the series? Because it’s very very high quality. I didn’t even know about the archer position one. And how if you look at them it forced Henry to talk about it during the preparation. I just took note of the archers in front of the most and I saw a stairway in the cuman area and thought “archers”
You really take in every little thing the game gives. And the game In turn gives you a lot to gaze at. Even took note of the dialogue.
Also, my brother was doing th he quest. He was in cuman armor. He went towards a bandit guard (he was the one with the glaive polearm near the door that triggers a cutscene with runt) when he came out the cutscene he was attacked by the bandits. So maybe some of the bandits can actually be angered or something. Just something you may wanna test out. But thank you so much for putting so much effort in dude.
Sorry for the late reply! RUclips didn't tell me about your comment .. no idea why, it's supposed to ..
But to answer your question, yes, I intend to go through the game as a whole. At some point I'll be doing a combat tutorial because a lot of people struggle with that aspect and it really takes away from the game if players have trouble with the game. I'm starting to explore other games for when it's done but this series I started with the intent to see it through to the end.
Re your brother, it could be that he wasn't wearing only Cuman armour. A quick test is to talk to the cumans, if they initiate conversation then it's the correct armour. There could also be things the he did, for example if you attacked someone or were seen sabotaging then the camp is alarmed. But at that stage it shouldn't happen, either you get accosted by the two guards outside the gate or nothing happens .. could be a bug. Sometimes happens with games like this that try and to a lot of things, see Bethesda games for example.
BTW, I appreciate your comments, it's always good to have a chat with people who can enjoy the game as I do.
SequentialGamer thank you so much dude. I appreciate that. I’ll be sure to tell him that when get does a hardcore playthrough of the game.
After watching a little over half this video, I played it, but I just went in sword first, because... fun! I lost more men than you did, so that counter-attack fight was a litter harder, but I was also better equipped than you so I only really took one hit that damaged my health, but the amazing thing is the final fight with Runt. I hit him ONCE, with counter-stab straight in his stupid, un-guarded face. And I got the cuts cutscene. Best.... cutscene... ever. I'm sure it's the regular one, but boy was I cheering at it's end!
Edit: I chose to take the second least amount of soldiers. So hopefully that farm hasn't been burnt down!
The funny thing is that people complain when they go in overlevelled and one-hit Runt. But sometimes it's also nice to just beat up on the fools!
I deliberately choose to go in as a peasant with poor skills for roleplaying reasons. I limit how much I can train with Bernard, so at this point I had combat skills of around 5. And I also have a house rule where I limit my armour depending on my defence skill, so at this stage I was wearing leather and padded armour only.
Pribyslavitz marks a big turning point in the story, from now on Henry is not just an untrained boy but a veteran. So I can now train to level 10 in combat skills. I'll graduate to better armour like mail and brigandine, and later on to full plate once [redacted spoilers] happens. I do it because I like the feeling of progression rather than just going from peasant to full plate. That stuff cost a lot back in the day!
The farm will be fine, it only burns down if you take the most men.
I like the Varg music in the background
You can sabotage the bandits and cumans easily. At night there are mostly one guard sitting at a campfire. Just sneak around and poison their food. DO NOT kill the bandit on the campfire. The archers at the church will see that. Also, pretend you are one of them. Don't run around and tackle guards. So cumans won't talk to you that much.
When you set the arrows on fire, just make sure that no one see's you. Just keep sneaky. :D
I can't for the life of me get the second food pot and the arrow barrels at the bandit camp without raising the alarm. There's just too many people around.
KCD 2 will ve taking place 2 DAYS after the prolouge so this information about istvan I think will be very relevant.
RIVERS OF BLOOOOOD AND A BLOOODY FLOOOOOD 😂
Careful, a wild Henry might bonk you if you're not careful :P
There's also a way to get one of the best armors in the game, in front of the church, if you loot the Captain, you can obtain Norimberk Kyrys, which has I think the best stats in game
The Nuremberg Cuirass is tied only with the Lords of Leipa Cuirass, and surpassed only by The Zoul Cuirass which has the best defense stats in the game
I am currently doing Merciful run, so no direct kills. I could sneak up in as a cuman, no big deal. But I think it is impossible to sabotage everything while still unnoticed.
But I want to try on my next playthrough a bait - kill a cuman near the small bridge and leave him be, others will eventually notice him and will run here with "ALARM!" and thus emptying the main camp, leaving you an option to stealth destroy everything. But they might not run there all, I have no idea.
If you stand in the river next to the bridge, you can shoot all the enemies in the camp by luring them over, they can't hit you when you stand in the water
I didn’t poison or burn arrows and suffered for it. Burning the hay to move the archers helped so much. Now that I know what to expect I’m going to restart and not cheese my way through it. Thanks for the tips
Nice! It's good fun when you do it properly. Good luck!
13:34
Lol, that one bandit had an absolute shoeing there.
Yeah, it's actually pretty amusing seeing NPCs get stumble locked by people just whaling on them.
Necropost but one of the bandits I think during the counterattack wears a nuremberg plate which is the best after Zoul plate.
That's how I got my first one.
I unlocked headcracker and my fight with runt not only lasted 10 seconds but the cutscene won't trigger unless you actually kill him so you can loot all he had before executing him
Yeah, happened to me too. Capturing Runt is not possible because the entire main plot assumes you killed him and therefore couldn't question him and find out about the people behind the scenes.
That's kind of annoying. One counter jab and a bonk on the head and the cutscene triggered. I wanted his FUCKIN SWORD!
I gave up trying to finesse Nest of Vipers and took a shot at it instead. There is a broken wall near the cook pot just inside the south entrance of the Cuman camp. Henry can climb to the top and use his bow. He cannot get swarmed by melee up there because only a few of the enemy try to climb. I lured the bandit camp to the broken wall. All died to just an arrow or two (yew longbow, skill 20, better arrows, bane or living doll). After the main force is dead, Henry can run about and pick off strays. I have skill capped melee weapons but remain a klutz so I took a bow to Runt. Not sure where the arrow hit him. He dropped with just one shot. That was a bit anti-climactic but the cutscene played out with a dandy duel as Henry would have wished.
As for looting Nest of Vipers. If you are not opposed to mods, pitch a tent in the countryside due north of Pribyslavitz before entering the town. There are ruined buildings that make a good landmark. You cannot set up camp inside town limits, but only in countryside. Town limits extend far south of Pribyslavitz which makes for a much longer walk. Loot the dead before they despawn, walk to your camp, dump loot in storage, rinse and repeat. After all the corpses are stripped, Henry has time for a nap. Then he can start on the locked chests, finish the sabotage, retrieve better arrows, etc. I looted roughly 20,000 better arrows, over 200 swords, 20 halberds. Keep 3 of the cuman helmets with visors for a future quest and sell what you can't use. I did not loot during the subsequent battle quest when we confront Runt. I relied on my bow and focused on enemy archers.
I literally went through and killed everybody and then scouted whatever was left, then burned the arrows. Took whatever I could, went to rattay, sold everything, fast traveled back, cleared the chests, repeat, and now after all the other dialogues, I’m starting the battle, and I’m slightly worried that since I killed everyone in Pribyslavitz if there’s even going to be anyone at the battle😂. Regardless, there’s a chest I heard a mbout I want to know the location of, hence why I’m here before rushing in.
Edit: 😮 you never showed the chest 😂 my journey continues
In my merciful play through I used a bludgeon as I forgot to switch it pre runt. I also had the head cracker perk that gives a 10% knock out possibility when you hit the head. Dropped him on the first hit and was able to loot him 😀
...then I used the unarmed kill. I was not in hard core.
LOL I was lucky as I'd also overburdened myself just before the cut scene so I was also not very mobile!
As to the bandit camp - I've only been able to get one pot in stealth through patience and savior schnapps. I also had a high stealth skill and had rain man + crouching chameleon active. Never could get 2 pots in stealth from the bandit side
Yeah, we've all done the kleptomaniac headcracking Henry thing, haven't we? LOL
And it seems that nobody has a solution to all 4 pots and arrow barrels other than to just run around like a maniac .. so I guess we shouldn't judge ourselves too harshly!
i did the bandit camp stealthily, first i put in the disguise on the right side of the camp, then i lured the cumans one by one to the shed where the disguise is, and going into combat here won't break the disguise. then i killed all the sleeping ones since i did it at night. then i lured half the bandits down to the square and sniped the rest, and no one alive saw anything.
I think by the time baptism by fire everyone already has good weapons and armor.
Just did Pribyslavitz for the second time, I managed to kill everyone without any hacks or bugs or cheeky spots, it's a shame you can't go back to radzig telling him yuove killed the entire camp hahaha.
I used around 30 savoursnapps
10 milk
Yew longbow + 50 better Peirceing arrows
All stealth except for the bandit camp part
Yeah, killing everyone isn't a scenario the devs took into account LOL
I used an exploit spot to shoot them all and was super impressed with myself... but then nothing happened sadly
For me the hardest part is not hitting your own men and this goes for every fight where friendlies are helping. They always seem to love getting in between me and my target just as I swing and the whole attack from behind them is simply not an option for me as my attacks literally never land almost as if they have no actual hit box unless they turn to face me with a weapon in hand.
You do have to pick your targets but if you focus on people who have their backs to you, you'll be ok. You do have to careful when there's many allies, but I find that getting close helps in preventing your own guys from getting in the way.
I wait until my homies get into a fight, then I third-party whoever they're fighting with my bow
You forgot how you can meet the Combat Master in the bandit camp. He's the one from Henry's sword-fighting tutorial right at the prologue.
The combat master is in Vranik, he's the one you get sent to fight as part of your "test". Unless I've missed something you can't meet him in Pribyslavitz before the assault.
I took out the entire camp, then sabotaged it. There are many places to sleep in Fort but only 1 lets you sleep and save. I drew out 5 or so at a time, then sleeped and saved. Rinse and repeat. Got like 2000 pounds of look, then walked to talmberg to store it all in my trunk. Lol, that walk took forever. Of course they all come back for the main battle, but not you get even more loot. Much harder to loot during the battle.
You can cherry pick a few pieces but you can't afford to make yourself overencumbered so it's not really possible to loot too much during the battle itself. Personally I avoid it because it's just not something you could call plausible or realistic.
If you want top tier armour you can just go and loot the random encounters at Skalitz. No need to even fight.
i did the cuman camp by stealth.
you need to loot the chest at camp entrance to get cuman gear so you can disguise yourself.
but you still need to be lucky and avoid cumans in the camp. because they will ask you questions and you dont know their language.
they will still see through your disguise if you sabotage arrows or poison the food in front everyone.
having high speech may get you out of the cuman soldier inspecting your disguise.
but you cant get out of it everytime or couple of times in a row.
I'm currently on the "From the Ashes" DLC and I'm wondering if you might have a video that covers any hidden dialogue from that DLC!
For example, when talking to sir divish after scouting the area with Marius, you can tell him you killed the bandits or you bribed the bandits and I was just curious as to how the dialogue options turn out!
Also, great vids, keep it up!
Hey @Mob, I don't have a public video for this but basically the initial dialogue options with Divish are cosmetic and everything leads to you becoming bailiff. There's three options, I usually pick the intimidate one and Divish is impressed that you scared them despite being outnumbered.
well there is way you could..approach it stealthily:
first, go to the back gate ( where you find the cuman armor)
avoid to bump into any cuman ( but if you do, make sure you already drink marigold, amor and bard. it helps)
if you must, go to camp at night
go to the bandit camp and jump to the wagon
kill all the bandits
pick off the cuman
enjoy free sabotage and loot
When I played through this when I was a peasant, I was detected and instantly gutted. Then I spent 14 hours getting new armour and stuff and then walked through the front gate and slaughtered them all, cumans and bandits alike, and then just took my time sabotaging stuff
15:40 Wow! Isn't it rebuilt after some time? I don't remember encountering Kolben farm burnt.
The bodies get cleared but I don't think it gets repopulated.
When I do this mission I usually shoot at the mercenaries with arrows while mounted on a horse then just kite them keeping distance and firing until they fall. When all the mercenaries and cumans are dead you just stroll into the camp and sabotage everything.
Yeah, there's a lot of things you can do. One of them is to use the polearm at the narrow bridge. Nothing wrong with that if you're ok with it.
My own preference is to treat the game as realistic as possible. IRL you'd be done for if you tried any of those strategies so I don't do them and I play with house rules to limit my power.
How i did the fight with Runt was to use a couple of piercing arrows at the very start of the fight, it depleted his stamina from the start giving you an advantage
Cant' say I've heard of that strategy. People who use bows tend to go for the headshots for the kill but depleting stamina could also be a way to win quickly if you need it.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD i wasn't very skilled with the bow to pull of a headshot, but yeah that would've been a better strategy lol
I always try and train archery 🏹 during hunts and sell furs and excess of meat and u learn alchemy to make poison to use for poison arrows
Enter camp through unguarded cuman side…. All at nighttime…..Lure cuman out one by one by letting him see you and you run out to the woods far enough , then engage ….if you need to rest there’s a little cave you can rest at or skip time to night …. Rinse and repeat , I didn’t both camps unseen
There is no way to hit all the cookpots and arrow barrels without doing some ridiculously immersion-wrecking cheese moves. Hearing about the technique of putting poisoned food in the pots instead of directly poisoning the pots themselves, though, I might be able to hit two cookpots instead of just one, but I really doubt I'll be able to do much more damage than that.
I remember I got lucky once on one of my play through and runt didn’t have his helmet so I one shotted him in the face. Was really funny
Yeah, he doesn't wear a helmet in normal play, but in hardcore they gave him one so no more headshot cheese LOL.
I was too wounded at the point of starting the final fight with the "bastard who took my sword". After third try I said fuck it and took him out with an arrow.
Same it’s so dumb this saving system the amount of times I had to do everything all over again is too many to count.
i just killed everyone With no stealth and shit's xD
great vid btw
Thanks! I hear the polearm works wonders, but I prefer to roleplay within the game's limitations.
Inevitably I will overlook a sentry , blow my stealth approach , fight half the camp at once , spend 5 mins repairing my equipment and health , then kill the rest by drawing them out one or two at a time. Next I complete all the sabotage, loot everything , then walk back to Talmberg because of the encumbrance. Three steps before I clear the forest I will be ambushed by heavily armed foes , kill all but one , the archer , who kills me because I'm too fat to chase him down. After that I respawn at the camp and start the slow walk over again because my greed will not let me drop any loot. I just laugh at myself because I'm still having a great time playing this game.
Ah, kleptomania .. she's a very familiar friend LOL.
Be a better drunk. This is what safe passage is for. Loot everything, then get blackout drunk and wake up in bed. Still works even if you are too encumbered to mount a horse
rrrivers of bloooood and a bloody flooooood
LOL, those damned bandits. Had to do a double take the first time I heard their songs.
Actually, the less "allies" dies, the less loot you can get xD I always made almost all of em die, then take their best gear to sell it :) I come to this battle without any armor (collect it from beaten enemies), to be able to carry as much as I can, and get out full of items xD Not so climatic, but very effective in terms of economy.
This game is great but riddled with glitches and inconsistencies in some quests. The stealth poisoning was one of the most infuriating experience when everyone in the camp has the eye of Sauron basically. On the other hand with 0 noise and Forester perk you can shoot arrows at random bandit camps and they'll just stand there 10m from you and you're invisible to them.
You'd think an actual MAIN quest would be better scripted.
1 thing that I found weird is that henry with barely any sword training can overpower runt in sword fight easily lol.. Canon wise after u woke up on rattay u do sword training with Bernard for like half a day and then u go for the main quest line without any break until pribyslavitz
That is a bit of a problem with the game's pacing. They should've allowed Henry to spend a few days doing training before the attack on Neuhof happened. Too many players end up fighting bandits with very little training so the game is harder than it should be.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD yeah it actually make sense that henry get more training when he enter sir radzig personal service..
Yes the pacing is off. I agree.
But skill wise you should already know master strike when fighting Runt. That is all you need as those are unblockable. I think you only need 1 or 2 when he has no helmet on and he's done for.
@@tiberius8390 True! Master strike is so broken sometimes.
I was expecting an epic fight with Runt, with long sword prepared and everything. Then one master strike to the head and the dude is dead.
Super anticlimactic.
Lore-wise, it makes sense to imagine that Runt really just made a living plundering the poor and weak. He hasn't faced many worthy adversaries in a long time, if any. Meanwhile, Henry trains and works hard, fueled by his thirst for vengeance, so he's ready for the fight.
It is a pacing issue. Henry just needed a good training montage.
At first I tried to take the stealth route and sneak in disguised as a Cumin. Unfortunately I got caught the third time i was talked to and ended up killing everyone in the camp then sabotaging everything.
Can't be detected if the enemy is dead? :p
@@SequentialGamer_KCD big fax
This game has gotten some of the recognition that it deserves YEARS too late but it is still criminally underrated (the extremely poor lock-picking mechanic being my only critique) and we need the sequel immediately…
My Stealth attempt what i did while scouting the camp i got the cumans to follow me outside and took them out one at a time. Then i went in and sabotaged the camp but didnt go up the hill
I drew them away in small groups and rocked em. After that everyone's too dead to stop you from sabotageing them.
Agua vitalis, bane poisoned sword...slay all of them...
this reminds me how difficult it is getting the Mercy achievement
Yeah, I'm doing a no kill run on twitch and I'm not looking forward to the battle. I'm hoping that as long as you're not the one to do the killing blow it'll not count it as your kill.
Not gonna lie just started playing this game, got here, barely did any scouting, but because I grinded out my henry,Henry, this was an easy mission. Slightly op in the runt fight, but that's the joy of the game.
Yeah, that's the challenge in designing for open world games. This quest is meant to be a low level one but it's possible to also have high stats and good armour. In my case I have a house rule to limit my gear, that's why I only wear leather and cloth armour.
Hey what were you talking about during the runt fight how you were a merchant or something. With like 5 combat skills and 17 vitality.
I always avoid going to Radzig after waking at Rattay Mill and roleplay that Henry is forced into serving Peshek and the other Millers. That leads Henry to become a thief, and then learn herbalism and reading/alchemy as a way to escape being a thief for the rest of his life. That leads Henry to work as a travelling merchant to earn money and because he sprints everywhere I end up with pretty high vitality by the time I start the main quest. A lot of the side-quests make more sense if you're just a random guy struggling to make your way in the world.
Then when I go to Radzig, roleplaying that Henry realizes he needs to learn to fight properly, I use a house rule where I can only train with Bernard to limited levels at each stage. So before Neuhof stables that's limited to 5 for all combat stats, then it increases to 10 after Pribyslavitz, and 15 after dealing with the coin forgery operation. That's to simulate that you can't become a master overnight.
Defense skill also affects what armour Henry can wear, so during the battle he's only wearing leather and padded. Defense 10 means mail and brigandine, and Defense 15 means anything including full plate. I also purchase all armour and clothing, because I'm roleplaying that you need those tailored to size.
By the time of the battle, Henry has combat skills of around 5, a pretty high vitality, and is wearing leather armours. The comments I made were about how I could use my stamina advantage to exhaust Runt and that's how he loses .. if you watch the end of the battle, he blocks but is out of stamina so I break through his guard.
SequentialGamer Good lord! That sounds fun and intriguing I should really try out something like that at some time thank you!
@@SequentialGamer_KCD very nice !
I must try a roleplay as a good soldiers, and not a half bastard stealing when he can and killing annoying ppl
In my first playthrough I had just unlocked the headcracker perk. Fight with runt was boring. I only hit him once and he fainted. It did mean I got to loot him though.
That's the best outcome actually. Before his body would remain at the steeple so you could go back later and still get his brigandine and other gear but now it's gone so the only way to get the loot (which is pretty high for the early game) is to knock him out.
That's cool, every time I've defeated him, it goes straight to cutscene with no chance to loot him
Is it true the Cuman outfit (from Andrew/Fritz side quest) works to sneak into the Cuman camp without any pronlem?
No, that one didn't work when I tried it in my "No kill" playthrough. But the set you find in the shed does work, just make sure to *only* wear that armour because any visible non-cuman gear will break the disguise.
Timmy does not appear to be among the dead at the Kolben farm. So either he escaped or was drug off by the bandits
Technically his model doesn't appear among the corpses so your argument could be right, but the game uses generic models for corpses. We know that Timmy's too dumb to run and that the bandits just wanted him dead.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD quick question, if when talking about troops numbers you click in the option( there's quite a few of them) will Timmy's farm be burned? Or it's only if you click in the " a lot of them option"?
@@masterplokoon8803 The farm burns if you pick the option saying the most enemies. That will cause Radzig to call everybody and so the rest of the county will be undefended .. resulting in the farm getting burnt!
Would be cool if they placed his corpse there. But for roleplaying purposes you may assume that his corpse is beneath one of those collapses buildings, he might've gotten killed inside one of them.
Somebody knows why I don't find Cumans dresses in the trunk behind the Cuman camp but only animal coats?
That sounds like you're looking in the wrong chest. It has to be the one at the rear entrance of the Cuman camp.
my game got bug at some point and henry appear in every cutscene without armor or anything, just his pijamas XD so in the fight with run i was in pijamas agains a full plated bandit XD
Yeah my dumb ass charged the front gates in the middle of the day and bludgeoned everyone with a mace hoping I'd get unique dialog with my lord but instead I only got sweet loot to sell
Hi, currently playing this quest and already poisoned the pot however upon siege, I always die to "Too many men died" any ways how to finish this?
If you're having trouble then you should take as many men as you can by saying that there's a lot of enemies. That leaves a few farms to burn but it's better than losing the battle.
If you focus on killing enemies that are already engaged by your soldiers you can quickly cut down their numbers.
That music you use in the background, is that burzum?
Not sure what instrument it is but it's one of YT's copyright free music samples. It's "Stale Mate" by "Jingle Punks".
is using piercing arrow with the best bow ingame gonna work to runt?
If you're playing on normal he won't have a helmet so you should be ok with headshots.
The best part about this fight is Looting ^^
It's possible to get obscene amounts of loot out of this battle. As long as you're happy to slowly waddle everywhere, that is!
I personally have house rules preventing that because you can't just take off armour in an instant in real life.
Nothing you do actually matters how the end mission plays out.
What you do doing the scouting part changes how easy it is to win the battle. If you poisoned the food they'll have less HP and if you burned the arrows it'll mean their archers come down faster.
@@SequentialGamer_KCDWhen I did the scouting part of this mission, I crossed the bridge & killed an archer who was on duty at the campfire nearest the bridge. When I looted his body, he had 1,600 arrows on him!!! 😨 🤷🏻♂️
Idk why but I can never get the Cumen gear to actually work for me. Anytime I put it on I'm instantly discovered as if I was wearing any other set, even by the regular bandits. I always just have to sneak around in order to do anything during this mission.
The set you find in the chest works. You also have to make sure to not wear anything else.
@SequentialGamer perhaps that's why I don't think I ever took off any jewelry I had on so maybe that impacts it.
did that with recent patch and didnt work . maybe problem with mods i installed
this is a good spot to loot and sell gear before raiding it.
If you're looking for loot then Skallitz is actually better. Just wait for the combat to finish and the winners to leave and you have all the free armour you could want.
Was the padfoot potion that op to where you would walk in front of the cumans and they didn’t do a thing or did you have some sort of mod?
No mods, the only mods I use are to make combat more difficult.
You can disguise yourself as a cuman but that only allows you to walk in front of bandits. That's how I captured the footage of the bandits talking. Any cuman that sees you will challenge you.
In the Cuman camp I was using some really good stealth gear I had high stealth. Potions helped but it was a function of good gear and good stealth. You also have to *very* carefully time when you do the sabotage in the Cuman camp, they have a tendency to see you even when you think they shouldn't be able to!
@@SequentialGamer_KCD thank you so much for clarifying your videos are top notch you deserve many more subscribers and you got mine!
@@george4111 Thank you good sir! Pleasure chatting and appreciate the kind words :)
I've actually had henry talk to the cumans before and passed the checkpoint. though my speech was pretty high. If I'm remembering it correctly I chose the play it cool option. But I could be wrong. I've played quite a lot of kingdom come deliverance. I tend to choose speech for the starting options for a boost there and then spend several hours power leveling in skalitz.
Edit: It's also the best idea to take them all out stealthily and then sabotage the camp. I stacked up quite a bit of grachen doing that over and over to get to where I could take the whole camp without getting caught by them. I ended up having 300,000 grachen left over after completing all the stuff from building pribislavits back up.
True, you *can* pass the various checks, in the footage I used intimidation, but you only get to do each one once. Meaning that you can only ever get past three Cumans total in the camp. After that they'll automatically attack you.
If you can stealth them it's great but it's not reliable. I've had NPCs alerted even though I took out lone cuman patrols stealthily. So it's possible but you can't completely rely on it.
oh... so you can disguise.... well.... corpses go brrrr
by the time I did the pribyalavitz siege I had full plate armor
I cant get past the first group because i get the "too many of your men have died" bug, the game is couting bandit deaths as my own men
Not gonna lie I've never torched that hey pile. lol
didn't have master stike and was under leveled when I fought runt and it was terrible but I eventually did it
You can still do it with masterstrike, I deliberately avoiding relying on them in my playthroughs, but that takes a *lot* of practice and understanding of the combat system.
A beginner without masterstrike would have a pretty tough time.
What happens if You kill all od theme prior to the assalut
You get a lot of loot but the battle still takes place exactly the same. The only thing that affects the battle is the poison and arrow sabotage.
I had no idea you could burn them down I take so long to get a shot on em that my system crashes
Radzig's helmet looks really cool. Can you get one for yourself?
It's quite good, but I prefer Zoul's from the Band Of Bastards DLC .. the houndskull is just cool :D
I mean no disrespect by stating this but I couldn't understand your accent when you stated what kind of potion to put in what was that called?
No problems! Not sure which one you mean, but I used either normal poison or bane poison. I believe I also tried Lullaby to try and put them to sleep but that doesn't work.
Could someone please tell me what buff/perk he has activated, the red moon perk at 2:02 thanks.
That's a hardcore penalty that reduces your attributes for 2 hrs IIRC after you wake up.
@@SequentialGamer_KCD Yikes, that’s sounds a bit eccessive. Severe morning grouch, that affects Henry’s stats, that’s crazy! too much immersion. It would be cool if Henry if skilled enough in alchemy could brew his own coffee potion to counter that morning grouch debuff.
Thanks for the reply though, I’m on my fourth playthrough that I started due to the KCD 2 hype. Love your stuff btw.
@@eirikursigurdarson1998 the hardcore mode debuffs might seem excessive, but they are not really.
