Glad that you made this intro to Dolce di Giorno.Not so many reviews on this one,in fact i guess i saw only one.I ordered a bottle since has a special vibe to me,maybe due to his anonimity and yet smelling great.Payed around 110 Euro.I own Costume National as well so i will have the chance to compare them closely :-).
UPDATE: Yeah avoid decantshop if you can, took two weeks to arrive. Be prepared to wait if you order it from decantshop. Ordered it Monday and it didn't ship until Saturday. Doesn't sound like long but the other decant sites I use usually ship within 1-2days.
Hi Justin, this is one of my favourite houses. I have this one and enjoy the plum note. Their vetiver perfume -Vetiver Ambrato - is so well blended and different from what is out there.
I love this house and love their bottles. They are hardly talked about. I love Real Patchouly, Bois 1920 Extreme, and Oro Bianco. I still have quite a few to explore from the house.

I recently discovered Bois 1920 aethereus which is a great gem as well main notes are bamboo, mimosa, coconut , orange and lemon , bergamot, it also has rose, tuberose and ylang-ylang, cedar , tonka and vanilla and peru balsam it's aromatic, fresh flowery it has resemblance to by Kilian bamboo harmony , which is amazing but is much more expensive. It's not a clone of that but they share the bamboo and mimosa note with a sparkling citrus and the fig in bamboo harmony functions similarly to the coconut in aethereus but bamboo harmony is less floral it's more clean and light with neroli and tea , whilst the flowers in aethereus definitely separate it with a more sensual vibe it also makes it slightly more feminine but I think men can wear it I like it a lot but I still prefer bamboo harmony overall but aethereus is a different take on that DNA that is more appropriate for night time , and that is again much more affordable and almost as good as the Kilian, the bamboo note has a great showing but the added florals and sweetness while adding a pop to the scent I feel subtract from the overall concept of the scent it's just my opinion but I feel the composition is trying too hard the tonka and vanilla subtract from the great bamboo note , which is very calming , rather than compliment it but it gets great feedback , its more date appropriate as a result. My one regret is I got this so late because it's a spring and summer scent I can use it for early fall but I won't get much wear out of it until next year but I recommend it it's very unique DNA that imo is very enjoyable And on a less relevant note it will allow me to save my bamboo harmony as well

It depends on personal taste. CNH is spicier to my nose. If you prefer that, then you'll like CNH more. If you prefer less spice and more woods, then you might enjoy DdG more.

Ok went and seen an interview with Enzo Galardi from Bois 1920 and the pronunciation is somewhat correct with the accent on BO'is. But coming from a native italian sounds a lot less like 'boys' the way you americans say it.😁

The meaning of "dolce di giorno" is "sweet during the day". I'm not 100% sure if "sweet by day" has the very same meaning, but to me sounds correct
