So true. My spiritual immaturity is evident in my lack of self-control when it comes to food. I'm trusting God to deliver me from the spirit of gluttony and I am also trying to help Him help me by setting boundaries for myself. Getting deliverance in one area of your spiritual life is never the end, there will always be another sinful tendency we must cry out to God for help with. Thank God for your channel and wisdom. Yes indeed, it’s the transforming and renewing that’s taking place. I use to have that mindset that it’s a once and done thing but it’s a daily dying and giving up, transforming and renewing, renouncing and humbling that takes place. Continue to have faith that He will deliver you from anything that’s hindering you from Him. 💕
Quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger is super convicting 🙏🏾 Re not being led by the flesh but The Spirit a big verse is to lean not on our own understanding, but acknowledge God in all our ways and He will make our paths straight 🙏🏾 Defo need to work on self control 🙏🏾
