One thing I noticed that every conspiracy Jimmy mentions is already a thing in the DC universe, "psychic star-fish", "mer-people", "super-intelligent french Gorilla", some of them are deep cuts though.
that being said, i def wouldn't mind a mix of episodes with more serious, thought-provoking tones and plots as long as they're well written and entertaining similar to the 90's DCAU Superman series
Lois is an army brat. The short hair actually makes sense. It's like WW's greek armored skirt. Its a change that, in hindsight, felt like it should have been all along. Gun moll look in the 30s, tight braids in the 80s.
It’s a joy to see how much you guys like this series! Yeah, it’s quite anime-inspired; some of the creative team have gleefully admitted that DBZ, SM and others were on the brains as they made this gem.
I really enjoyed this new take of Superman! The animation was familiar to me, I got a vibe of Voltron: Legendary Defender. Watching these two episodes put a smile on my face.
whenever i hear someone say "i dont like anime" i have to ask, which anime? anime isnt a genre, its a medium. its like saying "i dont like movies" which, fair enough there are people who do not like those, but most often than not, what they dont like is a genre inside that medium. not the medium as a whole.
@@LegendsofPodcasting no need, i was just pointing out that anime is not a genre, and chances are, he just didnt find one he liked yet. of course without knowing what he likes its hard to recomend, but, i always say major episode 1, is pretty hard to not fall in love and that's comming from someone who never cared for baseball.
The animation style reminds me of the recent Marvel animated shows like 2017 Marvel’s Spider-Man that nobody watched. But I like this series quite a bit so far. Really happy the reporting side of Clark is getting so much focus
Who doesn't love Thundercats? I like that the kite is in the shape of the Superman crest. Can you imagine if he did become Kite Man? lol Funny that you were concerned Clark didn't get the cat reward money. Honestly, the animation style is very reminiscent of Pokemon to me. I kept expecting Jiggly Puff, Psi-Duck or Team Rocket to appear. Hoodie Superman was fun to watch in action. Just as a complete one off, but I was wondering if you guys would consider reviewing the one episode release of Pryde of the X-Men episode from 1989. It's a lot of fun. P.S. Rob rocks
The erasure of redheads is getting out of hand. Why is every major red head from the comics replaced by a black person? Jimmy Olsen, Wally West, Iris West... That said, cute first episode but it's odd Clark has so little control after a decade. The flashback scene only drives home the point that he's had his powers for quite some time...
She drove way faster then she should. And with a baby in the car. The first minuts of the show show the stupidity of char in this series. And how in the world dident clark learn to use his powers after all those years as a kid. This is going to be a dumb series.

Definitely a coincidence, totally not foreshadowing for any one of them…
It’s such a clever way to drop Easter eggs
turns out Jimmy was way ahead for predicting possible news stories than anybody, including Clark's reveal - Lois should be following HIM around
I almost wish I was part of that universe to correct him when he's wrong. Which would also prove him right
I'd love to see how this show portrays Aquaman.
Whether its a more campy version like in Brave & the Bold or a more serious version, I'm here for it.
Two episodes in and I already love this show. Watching Superman is supposed to make you feel good.

The Kite Man joke was top tier.
Hell yeah it was

Especially at the younger age she feels like here.
Great reaction guys, I really enjoy this hopeful adaptation of Superman. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the future episodes as well.
After an era of “Superman deconstructions”, including two of his own ones recently… refreshing.
@@borjankosarac3645 Superman is Back baby. Glad the boy is being shown love, I see injustice as a extremely disrespectful take on the man of steel.

Seems a great start will defo watch the rest

for me it hit like teen titans 🔥
It's the same animation studio as Voltron and Korra, so good eye.
DC really needed to take a break from the dark and gritty
MY ADVENTURES W8TH SUPERMAN IS THE best new DC SHOW
Really good start can’t wIt to see where they take it

Will get Liam to reply to this to see if we can get that answer

Was that the pilot episode? Saw it a while ago loved the costume design. Defo doing the new x men 97 animated show when it comes out
I CAN'T WAIT TILL Y'ALL GET TO EPISODE 4! SQUEEE!❤
Watched it last night ep3 and 4 will be up soon
Man I wish Liam was here.
He’s not a fan of the art style sadly
@LegendsofPodcasting Yeah which is a shame it's such a good show. It's fine he's missing out on some good eating.

Very good question. Earth 999

There does appear to be some agenda against red heads in DC. Could be the lack of soul (reference plane sim joke)
Princess Meridia saturated the ginger market for another 30 years. There needs to be a ginger scarcity in order to restore demand.
