I bought the same bible with the deep brown cowhide cover. It has the same printing, with two ribbons and no red under the gilding. They finally offered a larger print, words of Christ in black, and _paragraph_ format version. This is the exact LSB that I had been waiting for. The printing, formatting, binding, cover, and paper are all very nice. I do not understand why this publisher keeps offering so many verse-by-verse editions and so few paragraph format editions. I am happy with this Bible.
Thank you, Tim for your review of the Legacy Standard Reference Bible. I've had mine for about a year. In the past I've appreciated bibles from the Lockman Foundation. Their association with 316 Publishing and Steadfast Bibles has produced some quality bibles. Master's Seminary did an excellent job of translating this upgrade to the New American Standard Bible.
I’m wanting one so bad but I’m going to wait a bit and see what improvements and updates they make . I want the giant reference and would like to have the words of Christ in Red . A heavier paper and darker text would be nice . Until then i have the 1995 NAS and ESV both with red letter . 📖🙏🏼
In some ways Bible software like Accordance is superior. It is excellent because you can hover over words and see the original language. Or you can put verses side by side and compare. But to sit and read, yeah, in print is best.
Thanks, Tim! I love your Bible reviews because your passion for Bibles and Bible study is very apparent.

Great review!
I love it. Just wish it was VBV.
This would be one that I would want to get, if only they separated the translation footnotes from the references.
I can’t wait until September when the LSB Compact is supposed to arrive😅
It really reminds me of the HHC CSB Study Bible (also Korean).
@TJhandle1 What is a LSB CSB?
Tim will we ever see a Bible like this in a Christian book store?
13 point? Praise Jesus! now i'll get one
Same😂
I like the name 3:16, more gear more gear.
the LSB is gonna be hard to differentiate from the LSV lol
research the Mandela Effect Bible changes!! this is the Abomination of Desolation. prophesied in Amos 8:11, the famine for the word of God.
