A plane I never thought I would see in person, the Douglas DC-3. This particular aircraft is the Douglas C-47 Skytrain, which served for the United States Army Air Force (USAAF) during World War II. She then came to British India for Orient Airways as VT-CIG before becoming AP-AAF, the sixth aircraft registered in Pakistan. This aircraft crashed on takeoff from Skardu to Rawalpindi, but everyone onboard survived. She then became a piece of aviation history at Shangrilla Resort Skardu.
