The edit button on my system variables is grayed out, unable to use when attempting to add java jdk path variable. i am on windows 11 pro. any suggestions?

The HXAM is installed but whenever i want to run the project, it tells me that the HXAM still needs to be installed. If I install it successful, and try again it will still bounce back to the previous error message asking for installation . Who has idea?
