I've been trying to find a scent that reminds me of real agarwood incense that my brother brought back for me from Dubai...it is very smooth when burning , will give Heeley a try. Thanks for the review.
I ordered a sample of fort and manle bojnokopff since I used all the one you sent me. When I put it on I can smell oud so strongly it’s incredible. The smell is incredible but also the fact that I can now pick it out.
Sounds pretty good! I like a couple others from heeley. Hope you get a chance to try MrOz's new Huaka'i. Starts off all tropical floral and orris butter and ends up all oud and sandalwood. I think you would like it. Bought a full bottle yesterday :)
I don't think I've tried this one yet. I tried the whole regular line and I loved them all. They really make my kind of fragrances. I've just bought Iris de nuit and it is gorgeous. Their Vetiver one blew me away. Less my taste but great quality. Have you tried it ?
I don't know if I have a sample of Agarwoud. I get Heeley samples, on the cheap, directly from them. 24 euros and above, then free shipping to the US. Their samples are good size sprayers . So I'll check and if not, on Heeley's next sale, I'll get a couple. Good review Peter.
Hey Peter, I missed yesterday's live stream where you were sampling clones. Is there or will there be a way to re-watch it? I'd be really interested in your opinion about those :)
sorry, I deleted the live stream - I won't be re making the video.. but it was Parfums Vintage, my overall thought was that they smell like in general designer copies of niche fragrances, you could smell they were not as high quality materials or as well blended, but they gave the general impression of the scent
@@FragranceView Thanks a lot for your reply - I really appreciate it! :) Glad to hear your opinion about it as I sampled some of their fragrances as well and definitely think that they're not as good as the originals. Keep up the good work! You're a great dude and one of very few fragrance reviewers on RUclips that I consider completely honest! :)
I like my synthetic oud from juliette has a gun(another oud). I need to find my favourite real oud hmm what's the best sweet dry oud that you have found? Curious if you can recommend any 💚
Certain notes lift off skin more than others so you sense those nuances more, certain notes cling to fabric more strongly differently to skin - smelling from the bottle atomiser usually you smell more of the dry down because the perfume is residual around the nozzle
@@FragranceView How interesting. Also I have an issue creating lime based fragrences. Lime takes on this sherbet like scent that I don't like. Is this because I'm using lime essential oil rather than a synthetic or can I counteract this sherbet smell with another ingredient?

@@FragranceView thank you for your swift response. I watched your review looks like a nice fragrance but I want it to be loud. Looks like it is long lasting as you mentioned but is it a room filler ? If not have you anything you may recommend that is on the same page as promise or portraitof a lady
@@abual-fadhl8757 the projection isn't massive.. but it lasts a long time. POL is very different to those.. if you want a massive room filler that would get compliments, the first thing that comes to mind would be More Than Words by Xerjoff, it's huge..

Good job. Nothing like the real thing. Which middle eastern houses do you recommend ? I find them to be more authentic
Oudh infini from dusita also last verrry long time on my skin, is this even more so you consider this might be synthetic?
I know Dusita use real natural oud actually

That's one of my favourites
I really enjoy this one. Great review as always. Glad I have a bottle:)

I'm going to sample this along with "Oudh Infini" and "Le Mat". Have a day off and was reading Turin's book:-)

Great review! So, if it's not a funky kind of oud, I might like it:)
Great review thanks!❤
Have you tried Fidelis by HIstoires de Parfums? I think it's a very different, but good take on the rose-oud combination.
I've not no

It's actually quite annoying that it's my favourite very unromantic name and the bottle is blah but the scent works so well on my skin...
My personal favourite with natural Oud is Bojnokopff by Fort and Manle, it's mixed with cedar / vetiver / chocolate / lavenader
@@FragranceView thanks I'll have to have a look into that one
Doesn't the fact that it's an extrait de parfum factor in when talking about the longevity, even with oud?
not to the extent of 20 hours no, natural doesn't last that long even if you apply it directly as a pure oil without being diluted in alcohol
I've noticed that fragrances smell different on the atomiser than the open bottle and also on the skin compared to clothing why is that?
