Hats off to Modi govt for building infra in all Indian states, remove curruption, build vision of smart city and select best ias officer to do so and make them accountable to the projects efficiency and their deadlines. Just was in Mumbai dear - infrastructure was AWFUL (no proper roads, roads with holes, no highways) - same as when I was growing up many moons ago.

Smart City Mission launched in 2015 and Srinagar was included in 2018.
But, it work will go on till 2026 as it has 135 projects to finish.
Many projects - in other parts of Srinagar has just started.
All because of modi but peaceful people wont thank him!!

the main problem with the kashmiri roads are man holes they are either below road surface or they are above road surface u can see that also news constructed roads in lal chowk

still cars are parked on the sides,so footpaths need to be broadened and that too with more height.near all the tourist spots and markets.
