Dude, I reluctantly tried the Longfin approach last night, got my secondaries first at the airstrip, then took the Longfin to the drainage tunnel into the compound. What a difference this made!!! Elite all 3 times I did it and made 6 million in about 3.5 hours. You were right, I wished I tried this sooner, it most definitely is the best way to run this heist. Who's the man? You are, thanks for all the vids, you rock!

Depending on where my loot is I'm taking depends on if I use the longfin or the good ol sub I hate the long swim to escape lol but its worth it if I have good loot at north or airport
@@jeffreyuber5303 If you take the bike all the way to the end of that peninsula and jump in the water, the swim is actually less than 20 to 30 seconds.

In real life tho you would never be able to purchase a weapon without giving all your information so I guess they just trying to make it realistic but also our characters don’t speak so it don’t really matter

I usually use the Velum and enter through the airport. I always use the guard uniforms and pick up secondary targets on the way to the compound. The reason I do this is because once you leave the compound, all you have to do is take the Manchez and go left past El Rubio’s helicopter and into the water. Then all you want to do is swim away from the island, it take about 20-30 seconds

I'm doing the longfin approach to north dock , grabbing weed and cash, back on boat go through drainage tunnel for compound entry and go undetected. Usually finish with elite around 11 minutes

Easier method scout airport 3 locations and the use Longfin then drainage. Sub 11 minutes everytime.

Gotta say it again, love this route. Normally I don’t make the elite because I’m playing casual, even with the Longfin. But this route has me hitting the Elite Challenge every time bro, cheers!
Ty man I just want to say I appreciate you I just finished my second solo heist on hard with the Longfin using your videos and I think I pulled out 1.8 million (Coco 2x in the airport n Main loot) each time. I panic at the end of one and like almost died I was undetected until like the last damn guard but I really appreciate how you.

I do the same route. The only difference i do is: I stay on my motocycle on north dock and I keep a eye for the clothes and truck. If there is a truck and coco at North dock this is litteraly a free in/out in the compound.
6:48 you can stand on the docks, away from the patrolling guards, and just zoom in with your camera if you don't want to get right up to the gate.
Rockstar has done good this time. Solo heist, max loot, no griefing. Love it.

Go into a solo public lobby and no one will bother you.

@@jajtv6655 Yes, you can do all the cayo perico prep missions and the heist in an invite only session. No griefers and you can go at your pace. It is awesome!

I do too. You can also climb up the side just using the crate but I believe you need to use the forklift to actually get to the lock

I like to use the guard clothes from aiport or docks. makes it a lot easier. entry point if i find the truck next clothes i use it, sometimes is hard to find the codes after the last checkpoints. also graplin hook has 2 spawn points near airport and some near dock. It brings a lot of diversity from the usual drainage pipe grind. Fastest route is with a graplin hook, then codes(when they spawn on the guards next to entrances), then guard truck. Also, i use velum, when I got the clothes and coke at the airport: very easy mission but you must buy the stash for 10k.
Tip: The longfin mission if found the best route is go to La Mesa, and drive trough the rail road tunnel and exit right at the docks, by the time I get there the police is off, did not meet the train... yet. The entry is just across the road from police station. You can make a video on that

Great info buddy but if we do it solo,,then we can’t get most of that stuff your scoping because are bag gets full after 3 collections so pointless doing most of it,,I just get the primary object in the basement and then collect what’s at airstrip,,,hope this helps 👍👍👍
I was doing the jump since my first scope out, you can also do it with the humvee
Tip at 03:44 is really a life saver in order to avoid that annoying checkpoint 🙏🏻
Last night I attempted my first heist with the bonus.
Hard mode.
Scoped pink diamond.
Got a personal best doing the setups.
In and out of compound super fast.
Coco, green and cash at the main dock.
Elite bonus.
Walked away with nearly $2.5m

Good vids Ty, appreciate your work, it's awesome. My version. When going to the tower I get on bike, ride across the grass lands, jump the rock part, go right at the T intersection, up the hill and you're at the tower. I go straight to the tower, if it's something I don't like I reset. Once I check the tower get caught, return to LS. Do set up, choose the longfin, choose main dock, when doing the heist at the beginning I head to the air strip, not the main dock, ditch the boat at the solar panels, take the bike. I check the areas near air strip for disguise, if nothing I go to the warf next to the beached whale, (I wondered where my wife went, RIP, lol), if nothing I suck it up and go plain clothes, before leaving get whatever secondary. If I'm lucky enough to get disguise I ride around to find what secondary I want,grab it, get main goal, leave by main dock. As we know the disguise cuts down a heap of time. ✌️

These are great tips. But I like to mix it up, and have fun with the Grappling hook, Bolt cutters and the clothes. I haven't used the sewage drain in 2 days because of this, and done the Heist now about 8 times solo.

Thanx for doing this ,,usually stick to a couple spots,,this helps out tons to get the best payout,,some of these I didnt know were there.
I got lucky yesterday. So I set my heist up to hard mode and when I went to gather the intel and I got pink diamond. And since I was going solo I went for cocaine and I got cocaine in two decent spots. I didn’t get elite but I still walked out with $1.7 million :)

I used to search everything now I just search hanger an top right an whats in the house then plan out what to take to see if its a solo to 4 people heist

For solo, scout out main dock and basement that’s all you need.
I rarely scope anything but the airstrip, and will only scope anywhere else if the loot is terrible there. Then I'll go scope out the North Dock 3 table shed and see what's there. I do completely scope the compound just in case there's lots of gold and worthwhile to bring pack mules. Takes me like 7-8 minutes tops to do the initial scope.
I'm as interested in guard uniforms as coco - so route needs to include those locations imo
Ty, for the main docks it's easier to parachute onto the roof. There's a hole there which you can fall through and take no damage, and you end up right in front of the loot.

Always scope out the secondary targets! Yesterday I did the heist and what I got on main dock was 2 stacks of cash, so when you do the score there will be no problem, I barely got the elite at 14:39 min cuz I had to go all the way to the north dock and then escape
There's 0 reason to go all around the map everytime to see what the secondary are if you really want choose 1 place scope it because it's not like you can go to every single secondary so it's just dumb to go every single secondary points

The longfin is good to have if you plan on hiesting up north and then heading to the compound. Elite everytime

Just search airport for the coco, if u dont get, go for communication tower and then to the main dock. If no coco on the main dock too, select the infiltration point to the north dock.

A tip for someone who simply can't make neither the jump past the checkpoint nor walking through the fence gate: from the airstrip, drive along the beach to the south, past the fishing jetty, until you almost hit the beach party; from there, you can't drive along the shore, so just equip your scuba suit and swim underwater to the main docks; from the docks, go south to the water tower, turn to the comm. tower and just run up the mountain. Yes, it's kinda slower since you'll have to run on foot (but swimming underwater in scuba suit is actually very fast), but it's 100% reliable, you don't need any skill at evading the guards whatsoever.
Pro tip: you can check every spawn location of the supply truck from the top of the tower except the airport (which you can check right at the start anyway) I usually bike straight there and then parachute to the truck and scope the secondary + guard clothes in whatever area it spawned in. (Besides the compound obviously but I don't get that location much)
I do all the airstrip then north dock then do the jump then go weed farm area and take the pics from the side so don't matter if gaurd comes by then head to the middle take pic of loot there then go main dock and do all the loot pics there then go tower I do tower last as the copper that gets sent out if your there to long don't come out intill you do the tower so doing it last gives you piece of mind and as much time as you want happy hunting✌🏻
Also, grabbing the guard clothing does help.
This way looks so much easier I thought I had to go through the checkpoint every time I did it the other day the first time legit Because I used to use the helicopter before they patched it. I Love watching your videos Thai they helped out so much you taught me how to do the damn fingerprint scanner and how to properly hack the box on the tower your videos help me out so much thank you

My strategy, scope airport, grab bike, drive to the tower, scope main target, parachute from top to north docks, scope there. Let myself get caught when i am done, hop on the plane. 20-30 min tops.
To long scoping man shouldnt take anymore than ten minutes. Even if you doing heist with 2. If solo just save your time and hit airport and shack across from hangar then take bike and hit tower. Then either get caught or die and leave island.

In the north dock the shack where you supposedly need a teammate you can flip the switch urself and theres a possible three loot spawn so check that.

A tip for y’all to make setups go by fast
Note: YOU NEED THE SPARROW for this to be efficient
Once you are done with scoping out call the sub and it’ll spawn at Vespucci.
First do the cutting torch setup, next should be the thumb print cloner, next do the vault drill/ safe code (depends on your primary setup). Fourth setup will be weapons, if it’s at one of the three skyscrapers keep the sub at Vespucci and do the setup as you always have been, then do the entry vehicle setup of your choice and fast travel close to it IF you can. After that your done. IF you got the “go to merry weather HQ” setup go to one of the three locations: 1.the electrical place (where Michael died😥) 2. West of sand shores airport (behind that clothing building that’s on route 68) or 3. Just south of the O’Neal brothers ranch. Once you are out of the avenger call in your sub again so you don’t have to go alllllll the way to the city and then do the vehicle setup of your choice, fast travel to where ever it is and you’ll be done after! HAPPY CAYO HEIST GRINDING!!!!!
After my second heist I'm startibg to realize that fast traveling the sub for some of the preps saves a lot of time lol. I use the sub and drainage tunnel. So i will stay at the north of the map to get sub and demolition charges. Then i go to vespuchi beach for everything else...and of course sparrow.
I always parachute down to the main dock just like he did but I land on top of the building on the left and fall through the opening on the rooftop

Just kidding. Thanks for posting this (I never knew there was more secondary loot on an upper level of that building at the airstrip). Everyone probably already knows this, but just in case --- if you climb to the top of the comm tower and parachute into the compound, you will re-appear at the airstrip without getting beaten up by the guards.

I always go to main dock to scope out... If there is no double coco thats when i scout the airport, otherwise i always go for just the main dock cuz then i dont have to ways time scouting out the airstip
Full bag of coke is 440k, full bag of cash is 360k. No point in scoping any secondary loot if you’re solo, literally 80k difference between best and worst possible outcome, and it’ll likely be more like 40-50k difference just going to main dock and filling bag with whatever you see first.
I take pretty much the same route but I like to contaminate the water if I find the cutting powder at the Mary Jane farm. Or if it’s by the water tower at Main Dock. It’s not totally needed but it can be helpful if it’s there

i almost never check the north dock, usually there's no reason to, there's almost bound to be two caches of cocaine at either of the other two other locations. not worth the hassle in my opinion. my route is take a boat at the airfield, check the main dock, check main objective, check office, if there are no two paintings or two stacks of cocaine found already, check airfiled (you have to get back anyway), and check north dock only if there's nothing elsewhere, which is pretty unlikely.
Just played this heist for the first time and it seems ridiculous. The guards keep respawning forever, and they also seem to know where you are, even if you manage to escape without anyone seeing where you go. Filled my loot bag with 1 table of coke and its half full already! What a waste of time.
