It is not actually advisable to put ice on the water it will only make the water density high ang the ultrasonic mister will not dispers the mist out porperly, put miniral water on it only for cleaner water evaporating in your room, it will actually cool a closed room using another standard fan blowing underneath of it. Doing a research before using it actually helps,

One big flaw in this review is that you used a inferior charger brick that was severely underpowered. It needs 2.4Amps at 15W and the brick u had was likely 5w at 1.5A. with a 15w 2.5A charger this things blows the magic smoke!
Put this thing above in cupboard some where high place and use another powerful stand or table fan below it, room will be cool within half hour. Air circulates faster, room become cooler.

Same effect when throw hot water in the air at minus 50 degree celsius for example in Siberia..it immediately turns into snow. If you do the same with cold water it falls down as water. I bought it for 5 bugs here in Thailand.

I had to use my Xiaomi cable and fast charger to make it work at full speed while pushing mist with all the filter holes, the included cable and the USB ports on my outlet extender weren't enough

If you use it outdoors, you’ll be fine. There’s not gonna be any mold grown anywhere, but any moisture indoors can’t cause mold grow
is it the same as the freeze fan? also does it cause mold it deserty areas(inside)

It’s definitely misty and damp coming out so you’re gonna have more humidity from this thing
Mine works perfectly. Basically you leave it on. And it does not really need to be facing you. Just like an AC. Leave it on and let it cool your room.

If we pour cold water into it, start it on full mist + fan mode and leave the room for 15-20 minutes, then the whole room will be a little cold?
