You are one of few people I have seen on RUclips that sew the beads on like I do. I can’t seem to do the two thread method. This is much more comfortable. I use a glover’s needle to get through the moose hide and I tack down every bead. That is the only difference. Good video.😃👍🏻
Hello, I am making my own mukluks and plan on using them for winter expeditions. Do you think that it would be okay to bead onto the vamp or neck of the shoe or should i bead on a separate panel and then sew that on? I am just concerned about impacting function/durability. I am using 5.5oz moosehide. Perhaps embroidery might be better? Also, what type of beads do you use? Thank you for sharing these videos!
i started my first pair of moccasins awhile ago before seeing this video and turns out i was doing it just like you 😆but instead of every two i’ve been doing every 3… but yeah it would probably look better on every two😅
