This poor dog rescued by Hope for Strays:
"Meet Fluffy, this dog has been suffering way too much of Ascites. His abdomen is filled with fluid which makes it hard to breathe - if left untreated, he may not be able to survive since a high possibility that the fluid may migrate straight to his lungs
Imagine the pain, discomfort & pressure on the diaphragm that gives Fluffy the difficulty to breathe.
We've successfully brought this poor baby to the vet and Doc Kim has done Paracentesis - it is a manual procedure using a needle and is done by removing the fluid directly from the abdomen.
After one week for treatment: Here he is now and his family sending all the love, appreciation and gratitude you have all shown to them.
They can't hide how grateful they are for the unexpected blessings they have received lately and they are so happy for Fluffy's recovery as well. Fluffy is now at home taking meds and is getting better everyday."
