You have such a beautiful soul so much that I don't think you even realise how so very talented you are, I have been watching you for 2 years and you taught me so many things, mixing colors, top coats, gem glues I can go on your a teacher and you don't even know it ❤️❤️ thank you for your videos
It’s very admirable that you send people to the original press ons artist should you get a recreate request. I’m not surprised at all…that’s who you are. But still felt the need to give you props for that good character.
Dorothy Palicka, Long Hair Pretty Nails, Celina Ryden, Natalia Evseeva, Lissette Cruz are favorites of mine to watch. Absolutely love this nail set, thank you for filming!
Young Nails has some great painting gels and they are reasonably priced. You could also use good acrylic paints and it might be a little cheaper. I love that set!!
I'm Canadian and paid $60. For the YN mission control set, and it's like 10 or 12 colors. So at most it's like $6.00 a jar. I'm sure, as you in the USA, they are much cheaper for you. And yes, YN, hit it out of the park with those gel paints...
I’m new to the crew of followers but been binge watching you as I work, wait for work, and did my first ever nail set myself. I enjoy every video that I’ve watched. I believe it’s been close to a month now of watching your videos.
❤ I love to listen to you talk! You give a lot of little tips and ideas when you when you’re talking and you like to explain things very well and that’s a plus to these excellent nail design videos😊 Yup and be sure, and wear the highest sunblock, and like the day before rub that sunblock really well into your fingernails for people who are exposing their fingernails to the UV. I do have questions, how does a person apply these premade finger nail tips do their own nails? Do you use like a super glue for nails? Can you use the clear brush on almost like a basecoat type product? Will it cure through the layers of color and attached to the nail? And how does a person prep their nails to wear these premade nails?? ❤
these are the you tubers I like to watch when I am doing my nails: Dorota Palicka Nails, Emily Susanah, Nails By Vic, Porche NailedIt, Conjure Up Nails, Nailed By Brandi, Nailcou , Joanna Magnetic, and Nailsslayedbyval my fav.
you are my fav youtuber girl!!! i literally watch you everyday rewatch and all so i can remember all the tips and tricks also my son once said to me the people who question their work have been some of our most famous creators its a fun fact :) u are more talented then you think girl 🤩♥ but also vanity val is a good youtube channel um young nails too
Painting Gels I use are Young Nails Mission Control Paint Gels! They are super pigmented and the viscosity is great. They stay where you put them and are great for fine or detail work, as well a full nail coverage too! They're having a 30% off sale beginning Sunday the 19th of February!!! Definitely get the full set of colors, best deal ever at 30% off!!!
I like watching Anacrylics also, Natalie Carmona and that girl dom. They ate definitely similar to you which is why I think I enjoy them. I love your energy and love how you keep it real in your videos. This set was gorgeous!
These are so fantastic! And they look so cute on her! To be a press on nail creator like you would be a dream. You are so so so greatly amazing at it. Just doing my own takes me so long so I am way to slow.
I love this type of French, and I love this shape! You did a perfect job on this. So so pretty and they looked really good on her! Loved watching! ❤ take care of you! 😊
Val your customer must be in my head because I’ve been warring with myself to make this set because I knew it was going to take hours to complete. The finished product is magnificent. The RUclipsr I watch besides you are TheJemzco;Jounail; Natalie Mugridge; The Nail Journal; NailThoughts;the NinjaNailFairy; MissJo’s Nail Co; As far as art gels I’d start with NailsbyDev pots but if you seriously get into Character art/Portrait/Anime then a lot of artists I know use MPA Pallette but it is NOT cheap! Anyhow thanks for the video I definitely want to recreate this now.
You are so talented Val! But if I’m not watching your videos while practicing I watch Nailed By Brandi She’s very talented as well! Do you plan on making more videos for the press on nail business series? I’ve been waiting for more content! 💕💕💕
Love these 😍 And sometimes the ones that don't look like alot take the longest lol! But some of my fav youtubers, besides you of course, to watch are Bomb Nails and Zulay!
I have one more question... 😉 When 1st starting out, how many different shapes or styles, of tips did you start out with? And of course length is in that question too... I understand we grow and add, but I'm wondering whats a good number to start with. Part B of that is - What would you say, is the most popular shape and lengh, your customers request?? Top 2 or 3 would be great. I thank you in advance for answering this... 🥰
Do you one up the size so they won’t shrink I’m having issues? I’ve done some for myself and after time they became too small. Or does it depends on how much base or top I’m using to strengthen the nail
I have the same problem. I'm going to size up from now on. Mine don't shrink too badly, I can still wear them but it's not as comfortable like they were before being painted.
As always gorgeous set for sure 😍😍….. that pink in the inspiration photo looks more like a pigment to me. But couldn’t really see for sure Lol 😊. Favorite RUclipsr Tabytha Scott and Set’n with Mook
I love your videos 🎉❤ I bought full cubes nails so I can do press on nails. The press nails is too curvy and I have a gap in the model. How can I buy the right full cover nails to make press on nails? Please help 🙏 Maddie
To be honest I would love to try Nails by Dev gel paints but I can't afford them right now so I actually got some Beetles gel polishes and a brand called Lavender. Their birth from Amazon and they are highly pigmented and work well for hand painted designs. I'm sure the paints are better but those brand polishes are sufficient for me for now.
Hey val, just curious do you budget on what you spend on nail supplies/accessories. I feel like I always end up buying new supplies constantly & idk if that’s a smart thing for me to do 😭 just want to know if you create a budget or you just buy as you please. Thanks!!
Hellooooo👋🏼subscribed to your channel not long ago. Didn't realize I have been following you on IG. 😆Love watching you! You are so helpful and I enjoy your vids! I am a fellow press-on nail small biz (not as popular as you, but you're an inspiration! Especially your french tips.😍) I have a channel as well. I mostly do shorts, but I have some where I show my process. I plan on working on more vids if u wanna support. Thanks for sharing, and helping ppl. Oh, beetles is my jam! Most of my polish is beetles. I'm obsessed 😆 except their matte🙄 anywho take care, stay safe!
Zulay, longhair prettynails, porche nails, Vee nail, Paige, bomb nails, omg there’s to many to name all! You’ve become my nail press on teacher 😅 and I don’t do press ons.. 😂 ur great very soothing 😊

I am personally not a fan of the Almond shape, but this design is just made for it, and they look so beautiful!! I think it actually wouldn't look so good, on Coffin for example. I already mention YN Mission Control in someone else's post, but my beauty supply co. was having a sale so I just ordered the Christrio Gel paints. I hope their good because I took over 100 of them... lol It was a really good sale... lol
do you usually prefer the coffin shape? i'm still new to press on nails and personally the almond shape is my favorite! seems like i'm the only one though, lol.
@@fransantelli Absolutely!, I started in nails when there was really only 2 shapes - round or square. Square is the strongest, and more attractive - round makes your fingers look wider, and fat and of course easier to break. I moved into a tapered square and now coffin. I personally think it's the most flattering style, and the most elegant of all. Because your nails dull and corners round over time, one ends with a more oval or squoval shape by fill time. So if I was to start with an oval, I would end up with more of a round shape by fill time. An Almond shape is going to keep its shape for the most part, but your tip will dull and it will become a little fatter. To me an Almond is kind of like, a pregnant Stiletto. She's wider in the body and not as deadly, she's matured and growing out of her clubbing days. You know, the transition phase... lol Because of the bulk she carries in the middle, I don't find her as elegant and as sleek as, an Oval. It's like she never loses the baby weight... lol Sorry, not meaning to pick on your favorite shape, its just how I saw it... At the end of the day - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 😊
@@catpride1323 haha!! no worries, i love the way you explained it! that's so interesting too. and you know, i do love the other nail shapes too, at least on other people. but i'm still learning, so i'm sure i'll explore more. 😊🐣💐
@@fransantelli Fran, you can always make shapes out of others. For example a Stiletto can easily become a coffin or an oval. So if you order that and decide you don't like it, or that you value your eyes. It's a simple little nip & tuck and you've got coffin. Or Oval and oval is close enough to Almond that you should be okay. YN has a video showing how to hold the file underneath to get that tip to naturally round ( or Oval) for you. I'd never be able to explain it in text. But it's a very simple skill and the way its done actually takes most of the skill out of it... But, yes, play, try other kinds - you'd be surprised what else also looks good on you, and what you end up liking. .. If you buy it with the thought of - if I don't like I'll change it to another shape. Just remember you need some length for that. So buy it a little longer, so you have the room to shorten and shape. 😊
So, speaking of tips - watching older videos of yours, you used to use different tips. Markartt was one, I think BTartbox was another. What I'm wondering is, if switching brands was difficult for you and or your customers, like sizing issues? As tips are made differently by each company.

What do u use to wash ur brushes when switching between different colors ? 🥰
What kind of tape do you use to out the pressons in the box???
What grit do you use to file the edges after you’re done? Thanks!! (I mean for square nails)
