    Having a doubt
    About concave mirror
    In the both cases when object is placed at Focus and between pole and focus the reflected rays seems to be parallel.
    Then how can we say that in the first case that it will meet at infinity as we don't know where is infinity?
    And why don't we extent light rays behind mirror in first case?

      Between pole and focus, the reflected rays will always divert my friend. Divierging rays can only be extended backwards not parralel ones.

      Just opposite of object placed at infinity and image formed at focus

    Sir if the height of objest isnt given in the question so we need to find the height or not or take any standard object size if we r given with v, u and focal length ?? Can we take any standard size of object????

      In that case you can only find the magnification which is the ratio of v and you if the height of the object is not given then height of the image can't be calculated

      This is convex mirror with reflecting surface towards object and silvered surface inside

    If the object is at the centre of curvature of a convex mirror,then image will not formed .please draw the ray diagram.

      If object is any where on principle axis image is always between F and O. This applies to object at C also. Same ray diagram
