Quelle douce voix, la plus belle voix au monde, la plus belle âme. Tu manques terriblement à ce monde qui ne te mérite pas. Sinéad je t'aime infiniment ❤❤😢❤
I always liked her music and for being fearless. I never knew her to be in any way political. Then a white female friend of mine told me about this song. I had completely missed the song on her iconic album. It left me speechless to say the least. I can’t think of any other Caucasian artist that was releasing such powerful & political music at that time. Mad respect for her to this day. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾🤙🏾😎🙌🏾🎶🎵
Not in the mainstream although Kate Bush did some political stuff and a lot of females on the Crass label. I'd say Sinead was the most mainstream of female punk / protest singers. She kinda helped pave the way for a lot of the female grunge bands riot grrlls for sure
I dig this unplugged and un-string version. This one is going to replace the 90's studio version in my playlist . Sorry 90's version but your your time has come to rest in peace in the music graveyard and this new version takes your place to resurrect this song to a new birth like a new season of early spring to a dying winter.
I watched a documentary which she made a few weeks ago, being a massive part of my life i was so happy to come across this, sineàd had a massive impact on my very early teens. I was absolutely devastated when the end credits came up with birth and then date which was a few days earlier, i rarely watch tv and dont read newspapers, but i was informed of her death in a random way and if i had not seen that documentary i wouldn't have known of ther passing, which in reality doesnt make a difference to me, its a shame her death reminded the world how revolutionary and unique this artist was, ans shame on those who blacklisted her due to her forward thinking of the political hotbed what was early 80s and 90s, , fu k the government, and fuck all you who use empty disingenuous words of rip
You nailed it about the tedious, worthless, truly untouchable, but actually hardened of heart who try to display their FAKE CARING when someone passes with that r.i.p. bs.... May you Cry out to THE LIVING ALMIGHTY JESUS and find ETERNITY. HE was the ONE Sinead was quoting with "If they hated ME, they will hate you"

Quelle douce voix, la plus belle voix au monde, la plus belle âme.
Tu manques terriblement à ce monde qui ne te mérite pas.
Sinéad je t'aime infiniment ❤❤😢❤
Why do the real ones, the fiercely human ones, leave us with the Trumps of the world. Loved her. Heartbroken.
It's been like that since Jesus was around. :)
Beautiful. Her passing still comes back to me as frequently as every few days.
I can't stop listening to Sinead since she passed. 💚💚💚 everyword hits to the core.
Bon sang comme tu me manques😢.
Je t'écoute et je te regarde tous les jours❤ je t'aime ma belle.
La plus belle voix au monde
I love her voice

This is the most gentle and soft treatment I’ve seen of this song. Thank you for sharing!
England is STILL a deeply racist place. She was something else. Still mourning the loss
Always my favorite Sinead song. So perfectly constructed, and sung with so much soul and sadness.
Same. This one and Mandinka. She wrote Mandinka about "Roots" She was SO fucking great and ALWAYS anti-racist. She was decades ahead of her time.

Most underrated song and most beautiful 😢❤
I love my boy, and that’s why I’m leaving 😭
Her boy was alive when she sang this song but today when we heard those words, it sounds so so so sadly😢
This song made me cry the first time I heard it, and it still does today.
I haven't heard this in so long and was just thinking about it so I got on RUclips and found this. Wonderful performance!
One of my favorites 😢rest in peace Sinead 🙏

What a great song. Very powerful lyrics. Haven't heard it for a while
It's heart breaking it was still relevant when she performed it here, and it's relevant now. I hope someday it's not. For any country.
I love you beautiful ❤ May your soul rest in eternal peace 🙏🏻 Your light is still shining bright 🙌🏻

@Cal who is broken F.U.B.A.R"Couldn't have said it better myself!
Always real & political
is this story accurate? every other origin story states that it was a 21yo black man named Colin Roach, not two early adolescents.
I am also confused about this. I am supposed to write a paper on this song but I don't know which story to write about.
So, yea, 31 years ago y'all
What year is this please?
She done told you...
21 years after it was written....
Basically 21 years since its release...
Which was '90
So this is very close to late 2010 to early 2011
