Thank you for your great video. I have it since I was in college. I am 68 years old. I managed to take care of it and maintain quality of life. I use puffers almost daily. I use prednisone and antibiotics when infection occurs. I still managed to dance one hour every day, 5 days a week. Exercise, balance diet, and proper life style does help. I see my lung specialist every year to monitor the progress. There is no improvement but it remains the same over the years . I am grateful that I retain an active life style to the best I can. Thank you again for your nice video.

I am 28 years old and I just found out that I have this disease. I did a lot of research. I'm researching death rates. I think I'm about to fall into depression. I don't even want to go out during the best times of my life. Your comment motivated me. So you have to get used to living with it. Thanks for your comment. 😌

Recently, I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis. Coincidently, my mother has had this condition for years. I do wonder if genetics plays a role.🤔

@reneemcmillan3865, that’s a completely unfounded statement. If HFCWO Therapy results in hemoptysis then there is a separate issue going on.
HFCWO can be life changing in patients with symptomatic BE and there is a ton of medical literature to support this.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Yes, you should see your doctor who can send your sputum/phlegm sample to the lab to ensure no specific bacteria is growing which may require a specific antibiotic. You should also try "airway clearance techniques for bronchiectasis" (lots of youtube videos available to follow)- these will help you clear your chest and hopefully reduce how often you get infections. Best Wishes

After many tests and a bronchoscopy, I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis four years ago. The cause isn't known and I've never smoked. I manage it well but I certainly know if I get an exacerbation.
