Already incredible, what the excavator and especially the gripper must endure. The operator is an absolute professional. The company may appreciate herself to have such a skill. Hopefully she pays him decent.
Those Europeans build to a much higher standard than we do in the U.S. We would not put up reinforced concrete for a wall in what looks like a housing project that has outgrown its usefulness. In Europe they build a building to last forever.
We use concrete walls for elevators and stability. We don't have so much wood as you have in the U.S , but we have a lot of clay. So the outside of most buildings are made of bricks. There are wooden houses in The Netherlands, but less.
All the materials will be separated in different containers: wood, stone, metals, and so on. You can be sure the lumber will be sold again as second hand timber. You cannot tear the building down by removing the lumber by hand. That will be to expensive.
No. A concrete crusher probably would be the best. But excavators without full automatic quick couplers (Oilquick) tend to be used with the wrong equipment, because changing all the time would cost too much time. It‘s not good for the machine to use the boom as jackhammer and smash the building with a bucket, which is what you probably meant and is done in the US.
Wrong machine , not enough reach. Wrong attachment, not strong enough. Demolishing in the vicinity of another worker. While demolishing the roof , the operator doesn't have control of where the decree is falling. Who would hire this company?
Later on, when the second part of these buildings had to been demolished, an other company was hired, with the right equipment. I have made some video's about this too.
maybe there was no way to get it out? maybe it was such an old model that one could not use it no more? maybe the motor was a wreck? maybe just to dismantle it and take it out bits by bits is too expensive? many reasons...
Having watched this you wouldn't hire this firm if you wanted a professional job doing then l take it. I assume that a pair of loading cam's were the only tool the driver had.
I know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Reyansh Trey Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@@peterclarke945 You must not forget that in the rather densily populated country the Netherlands is, it's usually not possible to just strike a high-rise building just somewhere to bring a big part of it down at once, as this could damage property in the vincinity. Besides that, most of the stuff is salvaged. Bringing large parts down slows this process down.
@@peterclarke945 To add to my comment above: further down the comments I found out that the author had explained that the operator was on his first demolition job and usually dealed with separating debris.
This building for elderly people was no longer to use for housing. Small rooms, bad heating, no insulation, to old. There is a new building next to this building were the elderly people now are living. After this demolition there is already a new building for more elderly people.
The boss might have a different view about the results when he cops a look at that grabber tool. A hammer or crusher would have made short work of that reinforced concrete but it requires patience, which this fellow seems to lack.
Got to do what the boss requires. It's his property. If he tells that operator to use his bucket then he uses his bucket. If he tells you to fix it then you fix it.
awesome vid ! great thanks for posting ! The operator is making a very fine job !

13;06 THIS GUY IS REALLY GOOD HE HAS THE JOB WELL PLANNED OUT!!!!
He is a real artist.
Vanaf maandag 18 februari zet Putman 2 machines in.

I would have presumed that a breaker attachment would be more effective!
A Breaker to demolish brickwalls?
Some good-looking lumber in that roof- what a shame! I thought the Netherlands were big on recycling.....

Would a bucket not be a better choice???

I'd like to borrow that machine for just half an hour.

Clever. He used a steel beam to wreck the roof.

Why was the motor for the elevator not saved? Seems to be waste.
Maybe call the company Putman and ask them. maybe theyy still know 5 years later haha.

You're right, of course. Being a mechanic, I just felt bad looking at the destruction.
THAT'S A GOOD STRONG WALL,THE REAL STUFF.

Mooie klus. Arme sorteergrijper,!
Armer Sortiergreifer , falsches Anbauteil😢
reinforced concrete seems to be no match for the claw! ..lol
AMEN TO THAT.
It's not easy for the bucket though.
I would have used an excavator bucket or a nibbler. Not that I'm an expert on demolition.

Is it my imagination, or does the driver not really know where he would best hit next?

I have a couple ideas. They didn't have another attachment like cutters or a breaker, or it takes forever to change attachments.
If I was that companies mechanic, and I saw the operator abusing a light duty grab bucket like that, well it wouldnt be a happy ending.
This grabber works well for brick walls, but for concrete there are better tools.
Kim Olsen Wrong equipment for demolition concrete and more stress on the machine .
