I was brought up in the Missouri Synod Lutheran church. My grandfather was a Lutheran pastor. When we lived in Connecticut we belonged to an ELCA Lutheran church. When they voted to allow homosexual pastors, we left the church. That church is now run by a lesbian who is “married” with 4 kids. Congregants were mad we left. We believe everyone can attend church, but not everyone can run the church. We went to the Catholic Church, and obviously that’s loaded with problems especially with their doctrine. We are now born again Christian’s and are members of an amazing church. We have grown so close to the Lord and actually have read our Bible. We love Jesus!! The Bible is the truth. I live in MN and all the churches locally to us are all proudly flying rainbow flags, we have to drive a half hour to get to the only biblical church near us. Thank God we found it though. We are not one nation under God. You need to look at the realiry and not clibg to a past notion. We stopped being one natiin under God years ago. Pray for our country and our leaders because God said that we should do that, but also have your eyes open to what our country is really all about these days.
A lot of them are not really even churches anymore. Instead they are glorified social clubs and government corporations where the pastors of them are really CEO's instead of genuine men of God.
So amazing that even for this madness all the answers are right there in the Bible for whoever reads it may believe, repent and be saved. This proves to me how sovereign God is. He knows exactly what we need to know!
The more I read the bible the less I believe. Thankfully I don't need to take the Tanakh literally to be an observant Jew. That means I don't have to try an explain away the contradictions. I can simply accept the reality that they were written by different people at different times, expressing different ideas.

I am embarrassed to say that I live in Minnesota. Thank you for getting the word out about Tampon Timmy. I did not vote for this guy so I didn’t know anything about him. I live in the more rural part of southeastern Minnesota, that for the most part is not participating in the “Woke” insanity.
We lived in northern Minnesota until 5 years ago. So sad to see what "Timmy" and his administration has done to the state. Praying he doesn't have opportunity to destroy the country.
I have long stopped going to these institutional churches because they don't follow the Word of God. Celebrating all the pagan holidays and coffee hour is nothing only talk of people's own vanity. We are in the time that God is separating the sheep from the goats.
We currently are unchurched but in the right church coffee hour is nice to get to know people and make friends. You would think for a believer the church would be the place to make friends but it's not where we live. Really sad state we are in.

I left the ELCA for the reasons you stated. I am still a Lutheran but a Missouri Synod Lutheran. We are VERY old school and hold to traditonal values. We don't do Woke and held services indoors and outdoors weather permitting. We are fortunate to live in Texas. I am glad I made that change.
I thank God for my mom. Teaching me while going to a southern Baptist church 3x a week. She took 4 of us. I lost her recently and I will never be really happy without her.

I was brought up in the Missouri Synod Lutheran church. My grandfather was a Lutheran pastor. When we lived in Connecticut we belonged to an ELCA Lutheran church. When they voted to allow homosexual pastors, we left the church. That church is now run by a lesbian who is “married” with 4 kids. Congregants were mad we left. We believe everyone can attend church, but not everyone can run the church. We went to the Catholic Church, and obviously that’s loaded with problems especially with their doctrine. We are now born again Christian’s and are members of an amazing church. We have grown so close to the Lord and actually have read our Bible. We love Jesus!! The Bible is the truth. I’m a Missouri Synod Lutheran, left ELCA over 18 years ago when I saw the writing on the wall. They should not have Lutheran in their name.

I live in MN and all the churches locally to us are all proudly flying rainbow flags, we have to drive a half hour to get to the only biblical church near us. Thank God we found it though. I have long stopped going to these institutional churches because they don't follow the Word of God. Celebrating all the pagan holidays and coffee hour is nothing only talk of people's own vanity.
We are in the time that God is separating the sheep from the goats.
We currently are unchurched but in the right church coffee hour is nice to get to know people and make friends. You would think for a believer the church would be the place to make friends but it's not where we live. Really sad state we are in.

I left the ELCA for the reasons you stated. I am still a Lutheran but a Missouri Synod Lutheran. We are VERY old school and hold to traditonal values. We don't do Woke and held services indoors and outdoors weather permitting. We are fortunate to live in Texas. I am glad I made that change.
