Leonardo is literally an artist way ahead of his time. He proudly made a painting so long ago and to this very day there are still some mysteries surrounding it.
There's a lot of painting like this. My favourite is "Carul cu boi"(Carriage with bulls) by Nicolae Grigorescu, where the eyes of the two bulls follow you through the room
Actually, the Mona Lisa is often described as having a subtle, enigmatic smile. It's not a full or obvious smile but rather a mysterious and ambiguous expression that has intrigued art enthusiasts for centuries
What you are seeing is the lady's reaction to someone she loves walking into that room at that precise time and the lady smiled. Leonardo's talent is so great that he captured this fleeting moment in time perfectly.
when you accidentally look at a stranger who looks back and you want to not be a creep, give a tiny smile. if you wear a mask and want others to know you are smiling, smile widely like here is Johnny
Leonardo was way ahead of his time, discovering not only techniques of painitng but also discovered many things about other disciplines, such as biology and engineering. Before Newton he discovered friction and was on the verge of the idea about gravity. The man was a fucking beast.
There is a rock statue of lord Buddha in anuradhapura Sri lanka. When u look at the statue from one side it looks like lord Buddha is smiling and from the other side it looks like he is sad but when you look at the statue from the front (face to face), lord Buddha's face look serene.
My grandma talks about her parents alot and said great granddad claimed he stole the most expensive artwork when he found great grans smile. I looked at a couple photos of them and the smile resemblance was uncanny even if it didnt have the optical illusion the painting did

Do we have to ask when he’s already giving us the answers?
I don’t think that many people asked this type of question
Very original comment... definately not overused
NPC humour.
Did you know that mona lisa is actually men?(real information its just a guy as a women)
Fun fact: Mona Lisa is said to be watching you wherever you walk around the room. So Leonardo Divinchi is insane at that😂
“Divinchi” is crazy💀

She’s smiling at every angle
I thought I was the only one seeing it.
Perhaps it's because of the screen. I have the same problem.

For some reason, I always find her smiling

Oh wow so beautiful, a woman slightly smiling. Definitely should be worth millions of dollars and idolized like a god
@@Yesnawhat’s your problem? It’s good art… but no one idolizes it

Leonardo is not just an artist but many others, this man the creator of true art.
Yep, and the french stole it sadly
He is underrated
Leonardo is like an artist living in 2028. That's actually so smart, I wouldn't have the audacity/confidence/intelligence to do that.

Props to the guy that painted leonardo painting the monalisa 🫡
So when you go near her she will smiles at you and when you were far away from her she will not smile at you

When da Vinci draws the Mona Lisa, the man who draws it draws both the room and the Mona Lisa.
I always see her smiling

Leonardo Da Vinchi: *ahh painting*
