If the album flopped or didn't perform better then Hwaa then technically (G)I-DLE kinda ends up with the same fate as CLC so it is do or die unfortunately

I remember Minnie going live before leaving Thailand trying as hard as she could to hide her tears as she was telling us how worried she was of the comeback not succeeding, and after the comeback's massive success (190K sales on Hanteo (would've been more if Cube actually restocked), 225K digitals in China, 124 PAKs, 6 wins so far etc.), Soyeon told Cube to not celebrate anything and just let her and the girls do the celebrating by themselves so yeah... to my mind, its basically confirmed: Cube told their *actual breadwinner* girlgroup that if their next comeback wasn't a massive hit, they'd be basemented like CLC 🤬🤬 Edit: Soyeon's contract expires in 2024 and the other members in 2025, and there's not a doubt in my mind that they'll refuse to renew them 😔
