This is the stuff that I have been waiting for - -The PowerApps! I hope to see more Kevin Cookie's tuturial about this (Power APP with Sharepoint List perhaps just throwing out an idea lol) because this channel is absolutely my "GO-CHANNEL" if I want to put forward innovation in my organisation :)
Love that he always incorporates the Cookies side of things in the tutorials and thus I don't get bore watching from the start until the end!!

Excellent video! Please make a video using more of the button options such as conditionals, and etc...
Amazing, and simple to follow. I was wondering if you might do a video on how to set up a calendar in powerapps?
Thanks Kevin. That's great and easy for creating a app without coding. I have enjoyed the video and learned the basics for creating a app.
Glad it was helpful!
An excellent effort to demonstrate the power App. Keep it up. Thanks

Please Kevin, make a video explaining what's Dataverse and what are the differences beteween SharePoint Lists, Dataverse tables and Dataverse for Teams. It's quite confusing wich one is the best.
Kevin ..Every of your videos has significant. Thank you
Great introduction to start working with this tool. Thank you.
Thanks Kev. Great demo. Do you do more advanced power apps courses?

Wow. This is amazing. First time I hear something called Power Apps and I think this app is going to be very useful for me in the future. This is so useful Kevin and thanks for sharing this. :-)
The sense of humour from 16:00 😂😂 A perfect demo Sir 🔥
Best explanation all the time, Thank you!
16.40 😂😂😂. Great demonstration, I am relieved to see that it isn't as difficult as I thought it might be.
Excellent video Kevin. I wondered if you would do a follow up to show how to build a very quick asset tracking system where you can read a barcode, perhaps record a voice clip to report condition?
They do have an 'Asset Checkout' free app template, not quite what you're looking for but maybe something to start from.
Wonderful explanation!
Kevin you awesome, bro. Thank you very much.
Thanks for another video, Kevin. I'm very interested in creating apps. Maybe I missed it, but I don't think you told us the purpose of the app you worked on. I'm not clear on what the app is supposed to do. I would have loved to see a demo of the app in use regarding marketing ideas after you finished working on it.
Agree I had the same question actually !
Thank you for the video. Is it possible to make an app that I can enter a number in a box then have it added to a previously entered numbers. For example, on top is a 3 from yesterday; I enter a 3 today and it now shows a 6 on top. Part 2, if yes, is it possible for each entry to be logged in an Excel sheet like it does in Forms (who entered, the date, the amount...)?
Hi Kevin, highly appreciate your tutos. Anything about Dynamics 365 in your pipeline by any chance?
Very informative! Thank you for good content
Hi Kevin, can you use the inspection power app to create ladder inspection forms that can be collated and sent on to the customer, or is this asking too much of the app
Thanks
Thanks for simplifying!
Very nice tutorial with great sense of humor. Your style is unique.
Thank you, this simple tutorial make my eyes open for what is power apps are.. 👍🤝

Excellent intro! Thank you :)
cool man!! ... I have basic 365 account and I didn't know how to ue power apps ... thank you man for sharing.
This was good, but I was expecting better and more detailed content since the other videos i watched of yours was really good..
I loved this video. I like the ability to create a new page through the app. If I do that, will it transfer back over to my SharePoint? I am tying to create an employee data base with the ability to go into an employee's file and view performance history, attendance, etc. I am wondering if this would be a useful platform for me.
Great explanation, thanks. Can you please add a video about licences required for rolling out to users?
I'll add to my list! Thanks for the suggestion.
Really nice and to the point.
Hi Kevin ! I love your voice. I have a question for you. If I want to built an apps to be used by my students do I have to pay for them to have access ? Can they have access lifetime ? I am building a coaching school online and I wonder if this is the proper tool to use for my needs. Thanks a lot ! 🙏😊✨
Nicely explained. Thanks
thanks Kevin....very helpful..
Question, how to switch the frown icon into happy once you use the BeHappy button. Like after you get back to the HomePage?
Great video and thanks in advance for the answer.
Hi Kevin, I love your videos specially the way you explains them. I have a request, please make a video on Windows 10 Sandboxing feature.
Thanks
Love the suggestion! I've added it to my list. I'll also add Hyper-v as well.
Hii Kevin, is there any possibility in powerapps to get source and destination and calculate distance automatically with maps integration?
Great summary! Thanks.
Thanks man!
Thanks Kevin. You are the best.
Thank you so much..regarding power Apps.
can you explain..Data verse & Data Marts?
You teach and inspire.
Same thing I do on MY RUclips CHANNEL.
Thanks for inspiring me KEVIN.
Build apps without knowing code? Sign me up! 😎
thank you very informative
I have a lot of concerns with this sort of thing, particularly with soft locking yourself into a closed ecosystem but this is nice for quick and easy app development for businesses with locked down work systems that need a app that will work on all platforms and wont cause security flags within their locked down windows images... But I do see many hard limitations but I have only seen so much to be fair.
I thought the same at first too but then I reasoned Rest API Websites using any framework can connect to the data and also one can export out the data using Power Automate or rest. The data can then be ingested for use by another system
@@ricardofraser4243 this defeats the purpose of this entire tool though as now you are having a bulk of the entire project running on code you wrote out in another language running in another ecosystem and having to handle security etc accordingly to then interface with all of that through what is effectively just a front end tool you can only use with teams and select other ms exclusive apps/websites.... and likely have to secure them all in a way that plays nice with MS security standards and SAML...
the goal/theme of the platform is it is something that someone with little code knowledge can use to do these things and all within the protected umbrella of MS making it easy to deploy within a enterprise business and it falls very short due to these flaws.
Had the same concerns, now stu k..
I learned a lot. Thanks. Even though you sounded like an AI text to Speech app
I was looking forward to this amazing tutorial.
Thanks again for suggesting!
Hi Kevin, is there an option to an InputBox to insert an image or snip that provides preview right away?
thank you for the video 💯
Hi Kevin, Is there a way or syntax to preview an attachment on click instead of downloading it?
It was a great video! Please, do more!
Thanks 😊👍
Kevin, Excellent video! I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile. How do you keep your data up to date? If I make an inventory spreadsheet, where do I store the data for my power app to stay up to date with the most recent information? Thanks in advance.
You can store your Excell sheet in your OneDrive and connect to it from powerapps or you can add it as a static datasource in your app but your data in the excel must be in a table format
This reminds me of Computer Basics (Chapter 4: Working with Apps, Pages 81-118).
Hi Kevin. I love your tutorials. I have to put one together and I have sone questions. Do you write a script? Do you do voice over after you make your video? Any suggestions will help
I create a very high-level script with points that I want to make or areas to remember to touch on. I record and speak at the same time (this way the mouse and my voice over are in sync). While I'm screen recording, I keep my notes on the side of my screen so I don't miss points. I record each point separately and edit everything together at the end. This also helps make it more concise and helps me avoid ums and ahs.
Hi Kevin, your videos are helping me a lot! Can you cover how we can have a flow of approval using Microsoft apps? Like, if I press a button, the request would be approved, and that would be filed in the vacation leave file. Thanks!
Does this give you what you need: ruclips.net/video/fuO3w3Vl-PU/видео.html Or are you looking how to use Approvals together with Flow and Power Apps?
Kevin, you best go on like this Fuat from Germany
Hi, Can you speak about Power Apps Model-Driven and which data based is better sharepoint lists or Microsoft Dataverse.
