Thank you very much Susan. I'm so easily distracted I hope I was easy enough to understand 🤣 if you haven't already (gain my mind is a sieve) please consider subscribing as it really helps the channel grow 😊
I love prestatyn rhyl and Landuddno the big building opposite train station isn't a pub anymore it's apartments I'm staying this August in there for 4 nights
Been coming here since 1975 for the then snooker festivals every May and Septembe at pontins when it was lovely and clean and had lot's of amusement thihgs goihg on competitions galore kid's things omg etc pontins prestatyn and brean sands were fantastic back in The 70s / 80s great times missed
Oh no that teddy bear tea room has closed really? Im here in August 2023 and my eldest grandaughter wanted to go in there again we went in there in 2019 took loads of photos it was quite a bizarre place lots of teddies around and other things we bought a odd lovely bear tea pot from there off the shelf and my grandaughter had pancakes with Nutella on i just had tea oh such a shame if they have closed 😢 it was ran by one elderly lady and her husband and a cat ! no one else worked there thats why it took ages to get the food
Yes unfortunately it has. Love a quirky independent. Difference is what makes places interesting. Glad you got your photos and tea pot as memories. If its not to cheeky please consider subscribing as it really helps the channel grow 😊 as we are local there will plenty more updates with things to do 😊 hope you have a lovely time in August 😊
Awww super appreciated. Spud has lived in the area all his life and I moved here when we met. Fell in love with Spud (😛) & the area 😊 hope you have a fantastic stay 😊
@@kat7777 There are no caravans in it - all chalets. And a lot of guests stay there for the entertainment as it has big names, or for events held there.
There are still alot of families whom stay here as you can fit many to a chalet and works out very inexpensive. It's a shame the ark doesn't invest more in cleaning up the park
Actually I think it is just stairs. There is a launch ramp at the sailing club which isn't far and a carpark close. I will definitely check that out for you. Infact it would be an idea for a vlog on accessibility round the town. There are slopes in Rhyl to access the beach ⛱️ though. If you haven't already please like and subscribe as we live locally so lots of local content along with our travels afar 😊
@@outandaboutwithus thankyou. Myself and my little girl are moving there in next week as we are in temporary accomodation in England ATM after fleeing a domestic incident so I don't know if I can get any help to get somewhere there as it's a different council but my boyfriend is helping us. I am excited to see the place and he's told me it's a wonderful, clean, safe area with a lot to do and brilliant schools 😁 I don't do going down steps as I get dizzy even when not high up
I'm not actually sure as we know that housing is in high demand here too. It is lovely here we do agree. Wishing you all the best and hope you remain safe 🙏
When you said you were making your way back to the train station, I was expecting you to be legging it the hell out of that place rather than walking 😂😂 Prestatyn certainly needs an uplift or some sort of demolition really 😜
@basylpeterjones they are a nightmare. I think their idea is everything should be houses as that's how they make there money but neglect the fact we all need somewhere to work or spend our money during our free time along with the fact they don't upgrade dr, dentist (bins lol) services to match the influx of people they want living here 🙄 bring back the great British holiday 😊
How can you film a video of attractions there when you're scared of showing the one distinctive feature: the Arnold Palmer Putting Course? There's no law forbidding filming where there are children - of any age. How sad and pathetic.
My apologies you feel this way. There maybe no law but as a parent I don't feel comfortable filming longer than needed where it is focused where children are. The video is showing places to visit not an in depth focus on one particular attraction, any information anyone wants on any aspect of the video people may ask and we will answer just like now. Hope your day improves
@@outandaboutwithusIt's irrelevant whether you're a parent - lots of people are. Why would you feel you have to avoid showing any images with children in? On the way, you mentioned vegan breakfasts at Cookhouse possibly not being vegan. And you mentioned Waves amusement arcade café being basic - but that does a vegan breakfast.
Brilliant vlog, really enjoyed watching.

It is a lovely area. Do have any favourite places to visit whilst here 😊

The Victoria? The pub has reopened downstairs so you will be able to enjoy a cheeky drink before bed 🙂 more local vlogs from Rhyl etc on here 😊
Oh really OK good to know just Hope it's not too noisey x
To be fair we pass regularly and it seems quiet so think you will be fine. Let us know how your holiday was. Hope you have a fantastic time 😊

Spud used to work there in the kitchen. They are having an on the buses special anniversary thing soon. Do you remember that being filmed there?
Great video 🙏

I didn’t realise pontins was still a thing 😂
This is certainly one that has a bad reputation so wouldn't necessarily want to stay here 🤣 but it still proves to be relatively popular
Unfortunately, these glamorised rough arse caravan parks called Pontins are more of an endurance test than a holiday.... DO NOT GO THERE 🙏 😅
🤣😂☺️

You should work for Denbighshire County Council: all they can think of is to demolish everything.

@basylpeterjones that was just my thought at the time. We didn't realise the waves cafe does a vegan breakfast, might have to give it a try 🤔
@@outandaboutwithus I had it once. I didn't think the serving was that generous but the vegan sausages were very good.
Will definitely have a look. Thanks for the tip 👍
