    As part of preparations to meet challenges from China and Pakistan, India is planning to lay 14 strategic railway lines close to borders with these two countries to help in easier and faster movement of troops.
    The railway lines are besides 73 roads being constructed along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, sources said in Delhi on Sunday.
    Out of the 14 planned railway lines, survey has been completed for 12, they said.
    The railway lines have been planned in Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.

    India should make ramsetu express with newly developed tracks with good semihigh speed train similar to vande bharat

      ​@@trendshort_ Yes that's possible channel tunnel is of 50 kms. This is only 20 kms. But the problem is we just started building under water tunnels. Sri Lanka is not even financially ready for this project. It'll take time not possible in next 10 years.

      We PPL of northeast unfortunately need Bangladesh for our supplies.
      Amader side khub bristhi dichhe . Shob dike rasta landslide hoye bondo hochhe. The only side we have plains are in Bangladesh, so Bangladesh will play a pivotal role for connectivity in northeast

    Bangladeshi imports are hurting indian economy, Indian brands had started importing cheap Bangladesi goods and selling them under their brand example i just ordered a Sneakers from Myntra of Red chief brand and when i opened them and checked the lables inside it was written made in Bangladesh it was surprising when a shoe manufacturer of indian origin is importing shoes from Bangladesh and selling under their brand same china model. Chinese bulk manufacturers are taking advantages of this free export import regimes between india and Bangladesh

      In case, if you didn't know that many big brands manufactures their clothes n shoes in Bangladesh because of low labour cost, If you buy any Adidas product in Europe, its very likely that it's manufactured in Bangladesh or Pakistan

      I know he's very hurt by the attitude that people here in Nepal have been showing to him here. But you need to remember various aspects and incidents that has lead us to see you guys with that eye. Remember not many years back but in 2015 when we desperately needed help to stand back up the whole South block of red fort was trying to destroy our lives with various issues that they had created on their own. This is not just me telling a made up story by said by various high ranking officer of Indian government on public records which you can check that before coming up to me. So , I don't think this railway line will be a good project financially to Nepal in any way.

      @@HerunAdhikari i mean as we say in hindi, Tali ek sath se nahi bajti, both sides have thier good and bad and perspectives start to build, iam not sure abt the incident that u are saying but iam pretty sure hamne bhi kuch kia hoga and the hatred starts to build from both sides

    First of all Hili-Gaibandha-Jamalpur section needs to have huge bridge over Brahmaputra or Jamna in Bangladesh. Next this line can be extended to Silchar of Assam as well. India is not completing a long pending Maishason-Shahbajpur stretch between Assam and Bangladesh.

    Bangladesh doesn't has Narrow Gauge. Bangladesh has Meter Gauge and Broad Gauge as well as Mixed Gauge which allow both Meter and Broad Gauge.
