I have some questions sir why do most of the PhD holders stay abroad? Are the job opportunities for them in Sri Lanka less? Or are they overqualified for jobs in Sri Lanka? Do every PhD holder who come back in to SL can join academia?I asked this from several graduates but they couldn’t answer properly I wish you could solve my doubts

Correct - job opportunities for PhD holders are less everywhere around the world (not just in Sri Lanka). Most choose academia (even abroad) Most stay abroad because of good facilities and funding that is offered in those countries. You should check my "Don't do a PhD" video.
