It's been decades since algebra, but I found this easy to solve by setting up and solving for X so I ended up with 82, 83, 84, 85 (4 consecutive numbers which equal 334.) I don't understand some of the comments which have nothing to do with this problem. I enjoyed it and it is good to remind Americans to use our brains once in a while.
Thanks to your teachings I now know how to solve this with my new "friend" called algebra. ;) X + (X +1) + (X + 2) + (X + 3) = 334 4X + 6 = 334 4X = 334 - 6 = 328 X = 328/4 X = 82 The rest goes without saying if we know what "consecutive" means.
My mom is a math tutor. I can ask her, but it looks like simple arithmetic you add those 5 numbers together and it = 325. Why are you asking why? Does 325 have some special significance to you?
@@nikkicole3331 Compare with 162+163 or 82+83+84+85. Just like prime numbers, when we add consecutive numbers, many numbers will never come. It is the way number play with each other. Nothing religious.

X + (X +1) + (X + 2) + (X + 3) = 334
4X + 6 = 334
4X = 334 - 6 = 328
X = 328/4
X = 82
The rest goes without saying if we know what "consecutive" means.
{82,83,84,85} in about five seconds in my head. Fun problem. Yes, I set up x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=4x+6=334. Solve for x.
took me about 30 seconds, and then the algebra later.
also, are you black?
Same with me. I also did it in my head. Subtracting 6 from 334, then divided by 4 to determine the 1st integer.
Divide by 4, take the two below and the two above.
thats how i solved it as well
Thank you so much! I didn't understand how to do this, but now I understand it!! It was really helpful.
Nice one. Thank you.

82,83,84 and 85
82, 83,84,85
82 through 85
82+83+84+85
82+83+84+85=334
107+108+109=324.
But 63+64+65+66+67=325. Why?

Real talk 🤔🤔🤔
Also 162+163=325. Why?
Because it is basic addition from 3rd grade. What is your concern over the number 325 is is some kind of religious thing?
82, 83, 84, 85
