There is a photo of a halftrack marked with the SS Nordland emblem.
One thing you have to remember, people did not do it because they loved killing, they did it to protect their countries. And atrocities are committed on all sides in war, especially in the red army and even today. Would you fight or risk your girlfriends and daughters getting raped to death by the red army's advance?

The USSR has no songs that are explicitly about how cruel they are and how Satan laughed with them. Not saying that you should censor history, but you can't pretend that it's the same.

It so funny how there has to be a disclaimer on nazis but if it were a video of churchhill in Germany there, be nothing of the sort. It shows how historical events are picked out so only one side is bad. Winston Churchill killed 25,000 - 200,000 civilias in the dresden bombings alone not to mention how he bombed Berlin 2 times while hitler said he did not want a world war. If you use logic when thinking of the holocaust and say it wasn't the way its said to be you are called a "holocaust denier" as if to slander anyone who thinks differently. If you only study school history and main stream history you will only find narratives of churchhill the saint and hitler the devil.
History is selective. People accept one narrative when its fit with their world views! Leader don’t want independent thinker, they want obey robot! Those who look both sides of the war is rare kind! Both sides could commit both good or evil depend in a situations! It is just two sides with different agendas to fulfill their different goals!

Also, your argument about Hitler "not wanting to start a world war" literally doesnt matter because just because someone doesnt start a war doesnt make them good. Churchill didnt even start the war. Neville chamberlain "started a war" (even though Hitler LITERALLY DECARED WAR ON POLAND AND CHAMBERLAIN JUST REACTED TO IT.)
Those bombings were rather tame compared to the literal 6 million deaths on the Jews alone, and I do not think they suffered the same fate as a quick and painless death, no they were starved and mistreated and were killed like animals. It's not about the "who did it", it's about the "who did it worse"
