Congrats again, Erica! :) Just wanted to share - my parents allowed me to enroll in extracurricular activities whether it was during the summer or throughout our school year and it helped build my confidence over the years. As long as a kid's interest is there for them to learn a new skill and if it's well within your means, I would recommend allowing Dana to take Kids/Beginner vocal lessons. Not only will she develop her singing skills, it will also help build her autonomy in making decisions, and your constant support and love will serve as her anchor to build her confidence. :) Sometimes, our kids need an outlet for their creativity and skills, and allowing them to practice those can help pull them out of their shyness. It also helps to start at an early age. Over time, some skills are harder to develop or grow into --- in my case, I only started my voice lessons the summer after senior high school and I hope I started way younger since it would have been more of a natural progress than just jumping into a new skill and expected to master it after only 12 sessions. Also, mastery comes with practice. :) Who knows, Dana could become one of the biggest singers in SK!

She is a mother of two toddlers in a foreign country. She is not the typical content creator that we see. They put on make up and all before they record. I see a normal mom who loves her family and that is the most beautiful for me.

Family gatherings, school programs and church are places and occasions where Dana can hone and share her singing talent. Because of her age, joining children’s choirs is a good way to get vocal coaching without the rigorous training one gets in private one on one vocal lessons, which she can get when she’s older. Dana has a good sense of rhythm and has a very good musical ear. 🎶🎤🎼

It is nice that you have noticed Dana's liking to perform. She is only 3 and this is the age where she can start having lessons like singing and dancing. While attending lessons, she can meet and socialize with other kids also. One thing that exists now is the talent and gusto to sing. 😊

If Dana likes to sing, encourage her. Our daughter -in-law likes to sing( just like Erica). She signed up our granddaughter for singing & piano lessons at around 6 or 7. Later, she enrolled her to take up dancing lessons. Kids grow up so fast. Enjoy them!
