I just adopted an Orphan team last month and Sold Herbert for TLaw and Hockinson in a 1.75TEP where this team had no TEs but Ferguson, sold the 1.03 for Puka, and sold Diggs and my 25 1st for London😅 all of these players are mentioned in this video lol but i still have AR some other great assets
I wouldn’t have sold your 25 1st…. But besides that I think everything can make sense.

12-team dynasty SF, PPR with 1.75 TEP, and .5 points per carry, start 9.
Sold London and the 1.09 for Montgomery and the 1.05 as I needed a RB and we are adding .5 point per carry this season. I also had a deal offered to me when I made this deal of getting DJM for the 2.02, 3.11, and a 25 2nd. In all, I swapped London for DJM, moved up from the 1.09 to the 1.05, got Montgomery and only gave up the 2.02, 3.11 and a 25 2nd as additional pieces.
Great show fellas. So I have a surplus of QBs in my SF 12team start 7. Should I trade Stroud for Jefferson and the 1.09 or Murray for JJ straight up? My other QBs are Mahommes, LJax, TLaw. I only have Kamara, cans, Downs, Dotson, London, Nacua, Pitts, and Andrews. I can also add JT for London in any of those deals.

Not for Allen/Mahomes/Hurts but the rest yes for sure. Allen/Mahomes/Hurts have his ceilings the others haven't really come close to

The real question is, who can we sell to casuals before NFL teams draft competition? Michael Pittman? I think they leave the draft with another weapon. Devonta Smith? Zay Flowers?

God help me Manic, I do enjoy your sense of humor. (And I don’t need explanations) Made an offer of Brown plus a late 3 for Rice. Only thing I disagree with you about is that Rice is going to be suspended, maybe 4-6 games. Gödell has to. Rice was drag racing on a busy Highway, caused multiple accidents with injuries and ran from the scene of the crime. He is not a bad guy from all I see/read of him but Godell’s punishment of him sets a standard for other disciplinary actions where drag racing is concerned or hit and runs. Can’t see a slap on the wrist/fine only. Going to be interesting to see if the Chiefs feel compelled to take a 1st round WR because the punishment is not coming until after the draft.
It would be another good opportunity to acquire him if he does get suspended.

That's quite the haul!
Selling Puka and Drake London is probably good process but I don't think they're overpriced. I think the prices are reasonable, but it's just risky to own assets that are valued highly but not overly insulated. They could both be obvious top 5 dynasty WRs by the end of 2024.
I'm fine with Puka. London at WR10 on KTC is just a tad aggressive for me.
Selling Puka seems shortsighted to me. I think people are forgetting that Kupp put up the greatest WR fantasy season in history, and Puka is essentially filling that same role in the offense.

Stroud is generational man. To sell him for Kyler and a 2nd is delusional, I have to assume your assessment of stroud is that hes a pocket passing QB whose stats will naturally plateau and his ceiling is around QB 5. Nothing to do assessing his real performance.
Newsflash, Stroud is the best young QB we've seen enter the league since Mahomes sophmore year.
News flash, Stroud has about 6 note worthy games to his name. Kyler has dozens on dozens. Stroud was not a generational prospect no matter how bad you want to believe it. Stroud is not dropping 50 points in a game again probably ever. He is very good yes but so is Kyler and Kyler had proven it more with less. Kyler was twice the prospect Stroud was.
I don't care about real life. I care about fantasy points and I think Kyler will score more and also have more spike weeks.
It's fantasy; that's what I'm speaking about. Kyler Murray has finished as a top 7 QB or better 3 times. Last year, he was only outscored by Stroud by 0.6 PPG. If you think, in fantasy football, that Kyler hasn't been elite I don't know that anything I can tell you is going to matter.

How could anyone say this is Stroud side Easy?? Herbert has had very top tier finishes under his belt. Unless you think Stroud is outscoring Mahomes and Josh Allen (guess what, he's not) then he falls into the same tier as Herbert/Burrow/Lamar etc. Hurts is a tier in between and I don't think Stroud outscores him either. It's 1QB so the difference between Stroud and Herbert is so minimal
While Kyler is a good fantasy qb. I think his value is lower because he is a worse nfl qb than most of the guys above him.
I'll be interested to see if that holds true with a full off-season focused on football prep and not rehab with the new(er) coaching staff there. Getting him a WR or two might be nice.

We can talk as much shit on Kenny picket as we want and it will probably be true but he was/is a better qb than Desmond ridder so I don’t think London and Pickens are good comps. I’d actually argue that ridder and Davis mills are actually in the same bucket and Nico collins was in the same situation last offseason as drake London is this offseason. All the metrics are there it’s lousy qb play that’s the problem. Now the argument is, is Kirk cousins the same upgrade as stroud

Amonra was a 4th rounder… after his second season of production ppl acknowledged him as a stud. Puka has another good year, maybe people feel about him similarly to the sun god

Close. I think I'd keep Mahomes here personally but for a re tool it's a solid trade. 26 picks are worth 1 round less to me so it's basically Kyler, late 24 1st, 26 2nd and 26 3rd which I don't think is enough but in some situations it might be

I don’t see how Puka is anything but a hold. Even in a perfect situation and setting his sealing rookie year (best rookie WR in NFL history). He has to have the highest floor in the league. Trying to downplay Puka is just grabbing straws at this point to give an excuse to sell him.

I mean that's an interesting take. He literally has a 100% clean injury record going all the way up to the NFL. Idk if you've ever sprained an AC joint but if you've ever been tackled or taken down grappling and you land on that sweet spot, your AC joint is nothing against your body weight plus another person's. It's a common fluke injury. AR will be fine. Plus most people aren't buying him at 1st round start up value so he's an obvious hold in those cases. AR is the type of player to win leagues if he is a QB2 on a team but I wouldn't be comfortable with him as my QB1 without having like 2 other solid options at qb like maybe Tlaw and Tua types

They don’t watch football and understand how to evaluate talent. These guys are day traders only - the more you accept that the easier this content is to consume. The elite dynasty players combine day trading with being able to evaluate talent on the field. The only real way to get there is if you played at a high level yourself.

@@ShaneIsTheWorst I’ve been keeping receipts for literal years dude - the amount of flip flop takes you have during a season are insane. If a guy has a good stretch you get all horny - if he has a bad stretch you want nothing to do with them. There is a lot of nuance to dynasty football - a box score really doesn’t mean shit at the end of the day.
Looking at a guys 40 time and RAS score isn’t how you ID talent on the field. Someone that has played and been coached the game at a high level can ID elite talent within seconds of watching film.
Drive 1 of week 1 last year and it was clear as day to anyone in the know that Calvin Ridley was still elite and one of the fastest players in the league off the line. He had a successful season and is a very solid dynasty asset right now. Go ahead and review your Ridley takes form last year and tell me I’m wrong. This is just one example of many. Good luck with the day trading though.
It's called adjusting based on new information and facts. Ridley is elite? In actual leagues, he's not worth anything more than a 2nd round rookie pick; on KTC rankings , which are based on the dynasty community, he's not a top 100 asset; his value is slightly above a 2025 2nd rounder. Ridley is the wR36 on DLF adp, he was the WR27 in PPG. No one thinks he's an elite asset.
London is going to smash this year… disagree with Shane on his London and JSN takes.

I see no advantage with taking Stroud, Hurts, Burrow, etc over any of those guys at cost. There’s not a market for tiering off them for Kyler. The team at 1.12 can grab ARich/Kyler and then still gets 3.01?
Even Mahomes/Allen aren’t significantly a tier above. Mahomes value is more the security of the asset than the crooked number producer. Allen has the same weapons as Herbert, yet only one is falling.

NO..they were arguing if he was WR1 in dynasty…no different with Puka and the reason you keep doubting him whether you will admit it or not is his draft capital which is IRRELEVANT at this point. I’m not selling a cornerstone WR asset and that’s what Puka has proven to be. Selling him is a dumb move and in most instances completely unnecessary unless you’re dry on liquid assets and need to diversify
