  • Join me for a stunning ride, with epic scenery through the Bruce Peninsula. Starting in Lion’s Head, Ontario. Riding south on country roads, and back north along the spectacular Georgian Bay shoreline! Gravel, pavement, rocky beaches, scenic lookouts, and forest trails! This incredible event has them all.

Thank you for the comment, Ray. Good work getting the 80km done! It was a cool day. I was worried about being under-dressed, yet I survived. :)

Great memories of a great ride! Thanks for filming and posting this. The group I rode with had a few cameo appearances your video. It looks like we were just moments ahead of you at the lookout, the lighthouse turnaround, and the finish line. I'm sure you'd remember seeing me, the only guy riding in jeans and carrying panniers on my bike 😂.
Thanks again ... Enjoyed the video ... Maybe we'll see you again

Hi Stephen! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video! I think I do recall a fellow in jeans. :) I plan to do the big ride again this October, and I hope to make another video as well.

It is actually the stem of my rear-view mirror. I broke it off while adjusting it in the first few km of the ride, haha.

Thank you for the kind comment @heldinson. I believe this year's event is nearly sold out, so if you're able to sign up soon, that would hopefully get you a spot. :)

Great video. Really get a sense of what the ride was like. I was in the area last fall to do some hiking but did one ride in parts of that area. I would love to do the lighthouse route and that water at Dyers Bay so blue.
