Given that I don’t know what I will find, when I open a package, I’m going to have separate videos for inserts in future, to ensure my filofax reviews are kept to a reasonable length. The popper caps are like that without the plastic cap. My own Winchester from 1986 suffered the same issue. I cleaned up the metal cap and painted it with a small amount of enamel paint. Left to dry and harden for 48 hours and it has been fine since. Nice organiser and set of inserts.
I just purchased one in junk piles at the car boot sale for less than £1...it is identical to yours. The popper has a plastic coating which is peeling off on the one I got. Did you find out what the EMS logo is? My ruler says 1985 too so I presume the filofax is that age.
