That is the main reason why I don’t pre-date my journal pages. The beauty of an undated blank journal is the freedom to only date on the day that you write and skip days without wasting pages. Take a Note seems to be the best compromise for your journal.
I feel anxious too about my 2025 Hobonichi cousin. It’s my first time using it, coming from an EC 7x9 planner. I thought, ok, the cousin is smaller, right? But there’s a lot of white page there and I hope I can fill it. lol
Where do you get your year at a glance questions? Do you have daily journaling prompts? I am using a hobo cousin for the first time in 2025 I wanted a smaller size from a Happy Planner Classic. I always am hesitant to do a bujo but I enjoy watching others share.🙋🏻♀️

You can white out dates or use the pages as a to do list.
