What a wasted opportunity to ask some really good questons.. for instance:
How does the financing work for the investors of fighters and their events, whether it be promoters or hedge funds. For instance, it’s one thing to bitch about an investor wanting to recoup his money, but than I’d love for Terence to explain to me who negotiates with the networks, who lays out the capital to rent the venue, insurance, marketing.. all pre-fight expenses that the “boxer” does not need to expose himself to. Yes, he is the one who fights and is ultimately the product being sold, but the monetary risks reside with others.
Why not get to the root of how the financing works and how that interplays with purse expectations.
