Hey there Name is Christian Thank you for these videos You've given me encouragement I start orientation on the 27tth of March in Fontana You've given me positive outlook compared to all the horror stories. Looking forward to the up coming videos Keep up the good work Thank you again 🙏
I'm glad you gave positive feedback. Im en route to orientation, and I've seen too many negatives. Just wanted someone to say something positive. Appreciate ya
Good luck my friend try not to quit until after your first year. Just heads up there are reasons why there are high turnover for new truck drivers. You are going to work 60 to 70 hours a week making 1k gross (around 20-22 bucks an hour if you count all hours). Eatting diet will be all over the place, irregular time zones, irregualar appointment time, irregular sleep patterns (you got to wake up early or sleep late or vice versa). Some shippers dont let you use the restroom. Super long wait time at shippers receivers while you only get peanuts detention reimbursement. Equipment trailers don't work (or flat tires/ bald) because other drivers don't report (due to pay per mile). Snow, winter traffic shutdown while you only get paid miles driven meaning your pay will get a hit. YOu need to focus 8 to 14 hours a day constantly while driving you can't just zone out a couple seconds - it could mean life or death to you and other ppl around you (versus office where you can zone out). No truck routes, low clearance, no uturn, DOT etc etc. Overweight rework (the shippers load it incorrectly) where it wastes your time but you dont get paid. The list goes on...I am just barely cover some stuff. Anyways get your experience there and go local hourly union so you can go home every night and have better pay and pension etc etc.
I'm starting next week. Fingers crossed 🤞 glad to see we kinda got the same mindset. In it for the money but not right now. Also i like how you dont ask for like and subscribe at the beginning of the video like a lot of youtuber do. Its kinda counter intuitive how am i supposed to know what im liking if i havent seen what you got to show me yet 😂 anyways. Good luck with the job. Gl with the channel. Ill be checking in

Sysco told me one year experience is needed.
Training pay at western express was $92.50 a day when you were on duty driving.
Now it's $71 a day when you're on duty driving.
Is trainee per diem is different than trainee pay ?
@@jongmooya2240 no strictly training pay 71.92 a day no matter how much you drive.
Can you ask them for you to stay on the west coast only?
I only stay on the west coast. I’m regional.
