  • Leon Fleisher, demonstrating one of his core maxims of "music is our way of defying gravity", does his inimitable "thing" with the sublime second theme from the second movement of Mozart's D minor piano concerto, K. 466. Could also be called "How to Play a Melody 101"!

    @DougDrumUltimAPerry Yeah, I have to make sure I don't do it all the time, much as I'm sure it would be universally appreciated...It's just not really my place. But I figured, every once in a while can't hurt. There's such a wealth of wisdom in these lessons, it would be a shame not to let a few peek out into the world now and then. :-)

    Thought he was going to splash the piano with the bottle. Not coming near my piano Mr Fleisher...
