HI, I would like to ask you, what settings must be done if I want to copy a Track element from a style to another and I want that all the settings (effect, volume, tone) appear in the copyed style? Thanks
Hi. I don't have access to my arranger to check and it's been a long time since I've done this...but if I remember correctly this method of copying does not bring in the effects. For that, i believe there's a separate copy effects option in the menu, through which you only copy the Effects from one style to another. But again I can't remember the details as it's been a long time.
Hi guys, i have a problem a load a set on my pa2x and i want to copy from a style the drum element but the problem is i cant load a element or something from a style that have 6 cv's.. Its only loading.. Im trying to edit that style with that 6 cv's on every variation but my keyboard are only loading for a long while..
thank you for the info very useful indeed, however i had an error message when trying to copy from certain styles i get an error message " can not copy from style" i know may be of copyright issue but is there a way to get over this ! thanks

Are you sure you're doing it right though? Like you're not trying to copy a style element with more variations into another style element with smaller variations...etc? (Like explained in the video).
same method as in the video and it works fine when i copy any style elements which are on the usb stick, but whenever i try to copy from those on ram i get the error.
How strange! In that case you may be right about the copyright issue. To be honest, I've never used those types of Styles, so I've never experienced this before.
You can but keep in mind VARs have 6 CVs whereas Intros have 2 CVS each. You can’t copy entire Var to ...say intro 1 because of that reason. However you can copy a cv from a Var to any intro or ending. Example: v1cv1 to i1cv2. What exactly are you trying to do?

Right, because you’re doing it the wrong way. Let me put it this way. VARs are like a 6 seater car. Intros only have 2 seats. If you watch the video, all that is explained, so there’s already a video showing how to copy part of VAR to an Intro. Example: you CAN copy 4 bars from Var1cv1 to Intro2cv1 . You have to select which cv from the selected VAR you’d like to copy to the target intro location. Otherwise you can’t copy any number of bars from entire VAR (with all 6 CVs) into Intros that only have 2 CVs. Trust me, it works just fine if you make the right selections. By the way, just noticed your name. If you are who I think you are, we’ve met a number of times in LA.

What exactly are you trying to copy from/to? What is the source and target style element that you want to copy from/to?
