- Award-winning television producer Steven Levitan, a 1984 graduate of UW-Madison and creator of the Emmy-winning show ‘Modern Family' presented the keynote speech during UW-Madison's spring commencement ceremony at Camp Randall Stadium on May 13, 2017. The outdoor graduation was attended by about 42,000 people, including about 7,200 bachelor's and master's degree recipients.
It's no wonder Steve Levitan's TV shows have been - most of them - such big hits. He's really knows what he's doing. Funny, insightful, great attitude - and very entertaining too. Well-done, Steve! Hope you're invited to do many more Commencement addresses.👍
Loved this commencement speech!
Sir you are a great speaker!
I remember in 2000 when we had to register for classes over the phone. God knows how anyone survived.
Also, this speech was shit and self-congradulatory. See the 2004 speech from Bradley Whitford to see how a good commencement speech should be done.
So... still living in your parents' basement?!
