WELCOME TO VLOGMAS 2022! I am so so excited to be able to participate this year and I can't wait for you to tag along!
My name is Brianna and I am a Chicago based flight attendant sharing all my adventures with you!
As we enter the new year, I really want to talk more about mental health as it has had a huge impact in my life. This topic is one that tends to not be spoken on very often and needs to be.
These are 7 ways that I have been able to overcome an anxiety/panic attack. Please share any other ways that may have helped you and I really hope this video can help others.
You can also email me at info@briswanderlust.com.

That first panic episode I had (some 30 years ago) came out of nowhere ...I was in bed just about to fall asleep and next thing I know felt like I was having a heart attack. Fast forward to being prescribed medication, with mostly mixed results. So After the anxiety diagnosis..10 years later ..came the confirmation of having autism spectrum disorder (back then known as Aspergers). That was kind of a relief, since things made more sense..there was a reason of all that was going on. But this came Just around the time of losing my mom, who I'd been very close to, and a few months later my dad who deteriorated quickly after finding out he was terminal. So Let me tell you, the anxiety on top of ASD..and probably some OCD added on...can be like rubbing salt on a wound. I still have trouble i.e. ordering food in a restaurant...answering the phone...processing information (esp when someone's speaking to me)...tying my shoes...avoiding being clumsy...stuff like that. Yeah these people who turn away from such topics on SM, the heck with them. I've never heard of the grounding technique...would love to learn more. Nor about using lemons lol I'm glad they are of help. Thanks so much Bri. OH I will try that song too.

So sorry to hear you went through all of that but I’m glad you were able to get a diagnosis and reasoning behind why you were feeling the way you were. Glad to know it seems you’re doing better now! Thanks so much for being here!

@@briswanderlust Thank you Bri. Oh there's also the "expectation" that guys are supposed to, you know, "suck it up" or that we "grow out of" such disorders...umm no this stuff doesn't care about age or gender. Adults are not immune. Ok I'll shut up now LOL
