You forgot a few things. Zombie Shiki can cancel back-turn Main into Vulcans and freefall and it's as useful an option as Rick Dias freefall is. Shiki also enters Zombie with whatever ammo he has left in his rifle, which can also still be reloaded with burst. Dodai melee also has solid vertical tracking, and you can even set up stabs from green lock beneath the target by abusing BC Dodai mount as it holds tracking properties from the initial melee attack you did prior, even on whiff. It's also of note that Dodai will continue traveling when you dismount it normally for a bit before fading away, so you can litter the field with Dodais. F Burst also lets you just Dodai litter by chaining Dodai Throw into BC Dodai mount (Old Maxiboost meme tech but still possible). It's also good to think of Dodai Throw as basically a really wide bazooka with a big health bar that can tank a bit of enemy fire without being destroyed by enemy shots before impact like bazookas can be sometimes, making it hard to interrupt and trading well. And doing a charge main while climbing up from performing 2b jump allows you to keep ascending in overheat which gives it great air stall with 4/6b while charging then guard then 2b into charge release again for the duration of permissible overheat. While we're at it, 2b's jump height is relative to distance and not set, so it's also possible to jump over someone's head into green lock and simply just boost away from there safely if you feel like you're going to trade and get stuck in Epyon or somebody's face. There's other tech you can observe watching Aina_F2 that even I can't replicate. Hyaku Shiki has possibly the most unique combination of tools in the game and is incredibly versatile. He never runs out of ammo and has one of the most dependable knockdown shots in the game, he has two of the best melee buttons in the game which are often interchangeable for both offense and defense, he has tricky movement tech with Dodai, and he has multiple ways to set up crossfires by himself. He's not allowed to make mistakes though and many of these tools require effort and advanced knowledge to fully utilize. The effort is very rewarding.
I also personally never use charge Melee. It's slower and stiffer than throwing a Dodai while mounted and it locks my melee button which I always want. Mounting Dodai to throw one seems very telegraphed, but you'll often not throw Dodai while riding and when you do it's much more rapid than the slow startup of charge Melee which is also very visible and doesn't let you move as quickly.
Easily my favourite arc for -Char- Quattro Bageena and the suit was that good that it was introduced in the episode 9 of Zeta and "survived" all the way into the end of the series.
Or when Kamille’s Mk-II has a zombie mode of his own. Or hell, when Zombie mode was a universal mechanic (one could call it a predecessor of E-Bursts, in a way)
Point blank 2B into dodai into throwing the dodai is my personal tech. The dodai throw has a lot of tracking up close andit works surprisingly well if you need a quick knockdown. Also, as a fun thing, if you're trying this MS and your partner is fronting, when you go for the Mega Bazooka Launcher, bend the beam towards the opponent you're not locking on. If you're good enough at this "blind aim" you can score a lot of damage.
Just gonna say when I actually learned the moves on this suit, I thought it was absolutely criminal what it could do. I had to dub it a perfect suit. There is almost nothing it can't do on the basic level. Near unbeatable melee clashing, solid damage, range for days and a double gerobi trap. I underestimated all the time until I actually played with it.
Has anyone made a comparison video of all units with “Zombie mode” in such a state? I’m sure at this point there’s been matches where both suits on a team (or rarely *both* teams) have a zombie mode and players have to plan their kills and deaths more carefully as a result.
5b and 4/6b (except last hit) can cancel into 2b. That and BC cancel and MAb makes for strong OH combos. And you get to do all this while looking at the other guy.
Is there a timing to leaving the Mega Bazooka Launcher as a trap? I cant seem to get the timing right and seem to always dash and cancel the whole thing.... ...any tips?
Shortcuts like R1 are basically a combination of buttons like Main+Melee (Sub). I find it's easy to hold a triangle while charging CSB and use R1 to fire main and vice versa.
This is kind of out of pocket, but could you perhaps do a video showcasing death/shot down quotes? Its a curiosity given some of them from the major protagonists sound rather interesting, but the language barrior prevents knowing what they were saying (Outside of Athrens raw scream at least!).
@@MinatoVersus Sorry for the late response! To clarify I mostly mean the quotes that are said when said pilot/suit is the final one to be shot down in a match. No pressure though. I figured to at least give a possible video idea!
I mean it was already outdated by the end of the Gryps war. The Hyaku Shiki is not trying to be a flashy despite its golden exterior. It's just supposed to be a high end standard mobile suit, something Char could cook with.

This guy kinda reminds me of Char. Must be a coincidence. I mean, he did die at A Baou Qu right?
Char was a monster, this man ain't it
now that you mention it isnt strange when this quattro fella died char came back...... very interesting

About time! 💛

Miss this man!

I accidentally hit my teammate with the MBL a lot. But when they call me on it, I just assure them that I've never betrayed anyone in my life.
Never forget Melee Counter used to be available outside of Zombie Mode.

Man there isn't anything like the Gundam VS games. Love it.
“They call me Quattro Bajeena because you are what you eat” - Char, probably
O and Shiki got the whole ass squad out for that win.
Fr fr, sum good shit

I miss the GvG next plus's j.5BBB combo which could be ended with a fucking stylish newtype shot

@10:18 Minato hits them with the sacred strat
Man, I miss playing with you guys in lobby
TVScythe Hell next? Maybe? Please? 🥹
I can confirm that being beamed point-blank doesn’t feel good.
(I have personal experience)
Minato's back, it's time to Goon, everybody. Together.
Is there a timing to leaving the Mega Bazooka Launcher as a trap?

the sfx que can help. bd away when they play the sound
@@MinatoVersus you're referring to the charging sound before it fires right? I gave it a shot but im still messing up...

can you tell me a good way to get used to CSB on playstation controller? holding triangle feels awful

Perfect Strike please🥺
there's one already
@@MinatoVersus damn I didn't know, sorry
next up can you make a video that teach how to freefall?
they are characters specific and not every MS can do it so it would be hard to list every single cancel 😭
I don't think this guy is Char
Why the the fuq is that trash battlefield game on steam but this game can’t get a port?
the problem with this ms is just that it's lame af
