- Call to DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY Buchanan Clark & Wells after receiving a letter offering a super reduction of 40% and asking me to pay £0.00.I'll pay that every day....
You are 100% correct. I managed a large C & C agency for years and wondered why people pay at all. It does NOT help the score. It keeps the account alive for 7 more years. It takes money that you will need. Start saving! Pay cash or use debit. Never settle a debt. Keep the money in your pocket where it belongs Tip: Only people who need to get a car or home are virtually forced to payoff a collection account; otherwise NEVER DO IT!!!
@Richard Fox okay morally I’m sure everyone would like to pay, but financially sometimes people can’t.
Morals doesn’t put food on the table.
40% of zero = ZERO!
if you recieve an offer of a reduction of the amount owed, it means that the debt has been sold to debt collectors and when one collection agency fails another will buy the debt and try their hand at trying to recover the debt and so on.
These clowns do make me laugh, they says it's 'data protection', when you ask them if they are quoting the data protection act, they say 'yes', when you then ask them what part as you have it on your monitor. They change to 'it's company policy', when you then say you do not work for their company and you don't have a contract with them. The line usually goes dead.
Try it.
It really pisses me off when I phone a company and I give them my name and address, phone number, DOB and a reference number and they still want more proof. Did I just guess the other verification things?
if they offer you a discount there at there last leg tell them to do one
40% of 0 is still 0. I love this video.
Awesome! I am happy for you. If this were the monopoly game you just got a card: "the collection agency has made an error in your favour" ;)
Lol, " I can pay you nuthin all day"! I cracked up.
ell done . never laughed so much for ages... brilliant. you are a gem. great attitude. enjoy.good luck.
doonthepan cheers :-)
just watched you again =zero?? today 13/09/2017 . still laughing out loud. brilliant . enjoy .
I am amazed some of you say just pay your debts, Especially you Solo Gals, Not all of us deliberately fall in to debt,I became disabled and was unable to work, and ran up many debts while in hospital through no fault of my own,These nasty shithouse companies are still chasing me, There not even the companies I had the debts with, there third party piranhas making a living out of other peoples misery,Solo Gals one day you will get in difficulty no matter who you are and I really hope you have to face the bailiffs, It might change your child like attitude on life,
well said anyone call fall on hard times
+Derek Askey the fact is at least here in the U.S. is that there is no money to pay anything the 1933 bankruptcy under HJR 192 specifically says that all debts are prepaid and pre taxed, when you get your statement (notice its not a bill) it has a positive number ,meaning ita a credit and they just need your signature so they can get paid out of your estate. the banks and govt. dont have anything!! they produce nothing do some study people!!! the banks get paid over three times what they gave you, when you default they are paid by insurance contracts known as credit default swaps, they are just looking to double dip to see if you know what is going on, most people do not know what is going on, instead of doing some study they rather watch football and drink beer!
+miguel thecreditor thank God there is people out there like you,not much to say really but to tell people to learn about the bills of exchange 1882 and do they know that a bank giro credit is credited to them and it's all they got to if they do they homework is transfer it back to who ever sent them the giro slip, people are brainwashed for they have been told nothing is for free but it is,that's if they do they homework mind.
+miguel thecreditor Never thought of that. But, you will still get a hit on your credit report. I dont think it wise to say 'pay nothing'.
+Sirius Jones again I will say do what you want I am not advocating anything other than study! you have been given some info. what you do with it is your business my friend :)
I'll don't want to brag...but...I'm rich enough to pay "nothing" every day ten times a day for the rest of my life....lol
Data protection = joinder
+Cameron Finch indeed Cameron
+Cameron Finch
This is an internet fantasy. No such thing exists.
NefariousVirtuoso88 lol! Are you sure ? Gave you ever read a book ? Failing books, use google
i love how you do it :D
Data protection is a load of bollocks, and is annoying for the company's call handler slaves to demand when there's no joiner or consent
You need to contact the credit reference agencies ad vising them to remove the any reference to the so called debt . Offer to send them a copy of the letter showing a zero balance owing.
I can give u nothing every day that was brilliant im going to be laughing at that all day
LMFAO!! how can you pay 40% of a £0.00 that makes £0.00 all day long. Fuck them mate keep the letter and show the Courts if its gone that far.
I don't know if the agency guy thought he was being wound up or not.
this guy is cool and brutal that the right way to deal with this robbers.
1967fateh its not robbing if you owe the money😒
Debt collectors they Ed 250 pounds to what you owe so u don't owe them nothing they are just robbers
I think you should have made a payment plan. Haha
I love winding debt collection companies up
I may be wrong but if your details and alleged debt are sold to a third party debt collecter, then the debt has been paid ine full.. i just to say thank you to the people that called me,, they have bought your debt,, so now its theirs not yours,, you didnt ask for it to be sold, did you ?
your spot on there
I hope you're joking
Joking about what ??
+Double_Tap 101 lmao your debt will always be your debt. even if a debt buyer buys it, your debt will still be reported on your credit report. not theirs.
Ask them for a copy of the document that has BOTH yours and a THEIRS (a human one in wet ink) they cant produce it because you have NO CONTRACT with them,, any monetary issue is a CIVIL case,, and therefore have to be treated with CIVIL LAWS,, and civil laws are CONTRACT LAWS,, contracts require a signature,,
brill..you made my day!!!!
+colin baguley glad to have been of service lol
You can't divide by zero...
Just pay the full amount of £0.00 and ask them to refund you the remaining 40%.
And if they refuse to, then contact your solicitor.
You should give them an incorrect reference number and a fake name and let them try to look up the account and when they can't find it tell them you were ready to pay in full but it's a one time offer an if they can't accept you are withdrawing the offer to pay in full.
+Chevy 57pkup hahaha next time
can I contact you by any chance ... found out Halifax has outsourced to debt collection agencies in Philippines stating is a department of Lloyd's banking ...the Philippines are refusing to say their company name bur state they are Halifax representatives.. what do you do in this case
40% of nothing is nothing.
Wow! That was a huge debt lol
Bcw are a bunch of clowns we had problems for a guy who moved out of our property 20; years ago.So its unenforceable after 6 years. I told them I will get my uncle to investigate you and the guyas he isthe top man in HRMC They soon backed off and stopped all contact.
Please make a video of you saying "Now then now then, how's about that then, now then". You should have gotten Lisa to confirm the details and then held them to the zero payment to clear the debt. I think they would be legally bound if you have it in writing.
I've kept the letter so if anything comes of it I've got the proof that I owe them nothing... haven't heard anything from them since this phone call..
Brilliant
Brilliant :D
Why would they ask him to pay £0 ?
lol that's awesome, you don't have to pay them 0 , I'll pay it on your behalf
+ArabMagazine ahh thank you lol
ArabMagazine
Put your wallet away.....I got this..
if you called them to pay £100 or more would they say no because of data protection
You rock mate lol!
mathematical geniuses obviously :) good stuff..
if its an error its proved in court you still have to pay... its a clear error...
BRILLIANT !!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!
Debt collectors😂😂a completely useless job. They have no legal authority over anything, the can pretend to be bailiffs (enforcement agents) but they are not.
Its just a sneaky way for them to get and u confirm all ur details to get the debt live again facts never give them information
they don't want money and its impossible to pay them nothing.
+Ravenous Fallen not had a single letter since this video lol
Noseyb'stard 8928 Have a great day, your a great guy.
Lol
They have to send that to cover their ashtray.Because they pperate illegally
The guy on the phone is obviously very slow.. haha he doesn't even understand the data protection act.. this is one fine example of how the people on the phone are trained to be wrongly informed and very unhelpful like this .. lol still quite comical haha
I don't know what happens in Britton but in Canada the collection agency loses when they make a such a careless mistake. By the way the video was hysterical 😂
+J.C. Doucet haha thanks never heard anything from them after this video
Noseyb'stard 8928 so they didn't sell the debt to another agency then
+J.C. Doucet no they can't with the evidence I've got against them hahaha
Pmsl brilliant
Credit Card Companies prey on those whom the Banks turns down for an equity loan on their home. Your home can have over one-hundred thousand dollars in equity, but if they deem your request for one-tenth of that does not meet their criteria they will turn you down and then a week or so later send you a pre-approved credit card with a 20% Interest rate.
40% of zero is still zero. :P
Nice one mate
can't they get the contract from the original people owed.
Lol. 40% of 0 =0
Would have been better if when he called you "sir" you asked him was he taking the Michael.
Not nothing mate, they want you to pay 40% of nothing do your maths, Rp% of nothing is
40% of 0 ;-)
So what about your data protection they've got your data without your say so
40 per of 0. Equales. 0. Ha ha N must make aware If being recorded
I just block the phone number and video the debt collectors. And put the video on RUclips and they can't make you pay something you don't have. Especially when money is hard to come by now days. So the jokes on the collector ha ha ha ha ha!
ace
Bargain!
What happened next?
This was the last time I heard from them lol
hay mate theres a Rabbit in your house :)
Bill them for the cost of the calls
Hahahahaha,,brilliant.
The guy on the phone
Ah alright then
Annoying
so funny
SO FUNNY
Send me 20% of what you owe them for me viewing this video - and do the same for every other viewer - 20% of zero is zero - but zero at 20,000,000,000,000% interest is still zero!
Sir pay ur bills on time y so happy about the printing mistake // life happen if u cnt pay on time at least be humble
Fantastic 😂
he can pay for that cell phone! pay your debt!!
Angela lee it's was £0 though 😂
Did you watch the video? He tried to pay
That was brilliant :)
A debtors prison for you
The caller appeared to be committing fraud by claiming to be someone he was not. Refusing to verify security info only made this more obvious. But I have heard of this happening, the lender makes error on letter and actually does tell a percentage yet some glitch makes it print out with the settlement amount of $0.00. Technically/legally the caller could agree to the $0 because (even though it was obviously a mistake) things in writing are legally binding-mistake or no mistake. Only potential problem is that the Gad-Damn IRS would require the person who owed the debt to claim its entire balance as income via 1099c. Interesting.
I Sold my car to a Complete Muppet who gave a false Address etc and he got a Parking ticket the Debt is now £250 and i have to pay them
@MARK MATTHEWS
No you don’t. You are not responsible for the debt provided the transfer of ownership of the car was correctly handled.
There's no data protection breach As the guy in the office Not gave out personal info. Lol Would recommend. The straw man Mature of the cadge. !! Must watch.
Don't pay anything lol!!! Is there an update on this ?
I never heard anything else from them 😂
Bellend
Hilarious.
mate ...I'd put that letter in a nice frame .
It's obvious that it's an error, does not give automatic right to not pay your bills,,,
LOL!!
🤣🤣🤣
LOL
lol
Ha ha ha
kmt
Presuming the letter reads as claims, the recipient is trying to use the auspices of errors and omissions to avoid responsibility. Shameful.
How many outstanding debts do you have? ?
none lol
:-)
Oops, Moron alert.
absolute blinder
Cheers not heard anything from them since

The call hander was right, he needs to clear DP questions, untill you answer them he cannot discuss any detail. He would be in deep dodo
They send you a letter, with the name, address, etc. printed on it, then ask you for your name, address, etc. 🙄

Have you seriously not got anything better to do with your time?
Graham Clark thanks for watching
Noseyb'stard 8928 Your welcome lol
+Graham Clark you don't live on Anglesey by any chance??
Noseyb'stard 8928 No I don't. Why do you ask?
Graham Clark just I know someone who lives there with the same name :-)
Have you no shame? You are trying to bait a collector into a violation so you can sue them. Not hard to figure out. You realize it is obviously a mistake and you are trying to avoid paying what you owe. There is no difference between you and a common theif.
