Royal Enfield are on a massive roll at the moment. Not a duff bike in the range and the new Goan and 650 classic are excellent. And they’re affordable, BMW, Honda etc al take note.
You should go to an old Royal Enfield workshop. You can definitely see some pre 70s models there. And I'm sure the mechanics will be happy to show around.
Glad you got to see the new Goan Classic in the metal. That "Trip Teal" scheme is definitely the most eye-catching and I think perfectly illustrates the sense of fun that RE are bringing to their bikes. An element that some of the more mainstream manufacturers seem to have overlooked in recent years.
Great video! Beautiful new Royal Enfields. Have a brilliant trip around South India" Darcy's dad is really burning. A little unsolicited advice from another old man who's lived in the tropics for 35 years...Wear a hat. Use a stronger sun block and drink lots and lots of water. Get into the shade more often if possible. Avoid walking in the midday sun...I think you're in danger of getting sunstroke. I hope I'm not appearing negative. Looking forward to the rest of your trip. As a PS...You may recall I ordered a Honda CB 350 Highness, made in India....( I live in Taiwan ). Well it finally arrived and I'm loving riding it Brand new for 3,000 pounds...Amazing value for money.
Apparently RE had plans to release these models with proper spacing in between but the whole lockdown fiasco screwed up their plans. So this is their way of catching up about 3 years worth of releases.
Guy Martin on his TV programme (Our Guy in India) was not very impressed when he arrived by sea into Goa. "It's just a holiday resort. It's about as far from India as we have yet been". So as soon as he got his bike ashore (an old RE 650) he was riding off back into 'real' India!
If anyone travels to India or tries Indian food for the first time, there's a chance you might experience stomach upset. About 90% of the time, it has nothing to do with hygiene or bad food, but rather the spicy masalas. Coriander powder and Garam masala, in particular, can irritate your stomach. As an Indian, I never had problems growing up eating Indian food. However, after moving to the US and rarely getting the chance to eat Indian food, my tolerance changed. During my studies here, I didn't have the time or money to cook or buy Indian food, so for almost five years, I rarely ate it. After starting to cook Indian food again, I found that my stomach wasn't taking it well. Now, whenever I cook Indian food, it's normal for me to experience stomach upset for two days. However, if I eat it for few days, I'm fine. After doing some research, I discovered that it's the spices that cause the irritation.
Wow this video is awesome, you captured the festival and India like we are actually there with you 💯 I can't stop watching it. Love the new bikes they are gorgeous styles and colours ❤ and as for that cow I think he wants to come home with you 😊
OMG I Love their Classic 350, those white wall tyres i want some for my Bonny. Great to see tubeless spoked wheels, why cant Triumph do those :( What an incredible trip guys a reel eye opener, I wouldn’t want to come home.. Was less electric bikes at MCL this year, Only ones worth buying are the Maeving and the RE new one for city commuting. I know your into cars Darcy and i see Porsche are about to start putting engines in the Tycan now as 1 they dont sell and those who bought have lost 70k in a year. The future in my eyes is combustion only 😂 I’m glad you said flip flops old man and not crocks 😂 Can’t beat a good curry 😋 Looking forward to the next one guys thanks Nick
Ol man and Darcy , please avoid giving money to beggars each time . Most of them are in need but they've made a cartel and are making living out of it . Ik it feels a bit guilty but please refrain . Anyway nice video as always and enjoy your ride in india . Ride safe.
Great one gentlemen. I heard recently that Royal Enfield has stopped or eventually stopping the production of Interceptor & Continental GT to make way for the new 650 bikes. I heard this from one of the dealerships in Malaysia and I have been heartbroken since as I am really looking forward to owning an Int650. Is it true, have you heard anything from RE themselves?

Awesome Spicy Video full of Desi vibes 😅. Tc
Hey.. that ending was a bit EastEnders.
I really wish they would offer sprung seat options on the Goan and classic 650. It's a must for added riser comfort.

Visit bondla wildlife sanctuary in Goa
In an era of racism against indians, your content is refreshing!🙏
I don’t understand how anyone can be racist towards Indians, they’re such lovely people! 💯
hey on your way, try some other bikes like jawa, yezdi even some TVS if possible!!!
Nice video.
Epic!👏👍😀🏍

We have not heard anything as yet 👍🏼
not at all. The INT is the bestselling 650 and I'm sure that Royal Enfield, in their right minds, would never discontinue the INT650.
Im sure you can pick one up used.

Did it rain the next day? Or the old man is under the weather?
He looks exhausted in some of the bits of this video. Take care!
He is fine just hot 🥵
